I'm not so sure barmy, I think in a weird way they like him. If they were confronted with the non stop ribbing, they might realise that it has gone beyond banter.

Ben is not perfect, far from it - so stop  applauding his every action as though he is the best thing since sliced bread.   All I'm saying is he does deserve a lot of his housemates disdain, what nobody deserves is the 'gang' mentality of making him feel miserable!

I said before at times I am watching and saying Noooooo Ben and yes he does need to get his butt in gear about the tasks but nothing warrants the constant the daily ridicule he gets from a lot of the HM's....Each day it continues it becomes more unacceptable imo.

 I hate it when any dissent is seen as aggressive...it's just sooooooo totalitarian
