It was a wild, unholy roar, barely human. It stopped them dead in their tracks. They were afraid to move but knew the doors were locked so there was no way out anyway, no hope of escape. Then they heard the roar, the sound of a wounded enraged animal. It was terrifying, relentless, the roars trailing off intermittently only to be replaced by the horrible, tortured wailing which sent shivers down their spines.

They knew the end was near when the knives came flying across the room in their direction. They stood still, holding each other, crying, accepting their fate and waiting for the end. Finally, when it seemed they could take no more of this torture, BB relented, called Shabby to the diary room and gave her hat back.
