dianne abbott got her numbers wrong after about 8 early morning interviews..amber rudd purposely is sending legit British citizens to a country that some have never been to..even after they have lived here or been born here & paid taxes here

You missing the point Pirate - I was just pointing out the hypocrisy in it's pure form. Nothing to do with what Rudd is doing. I know it's difficult to see through a comment when you dislike Rudd so much, but take my post at face value, kettle calling pot black.

I disagree, I'm no good at football but I still know a rubbish pass or goal attempt when I see one.  It's Dianne Abbott's job to hold her opposite number to account.  She would be remiss in her duties if she didn't comment on Rudd's lies to Parliament and the consequences of Theresa May's awful policies.

Hypocrite, well maybe, but Dianne's far from the only one in Parliament - I'd say the hypocrites outnumber the non-hypocrites.  I'd rather she be thought of as a hypocrite than let Rudd get away with it just because of the hashed interviews Dianne Abbott made in the past.

A set of beliefs someone else has, that they believe is best from their point of view. Producing a manifesto they believe will work.

 

And they sell it as a solution to current and future problems.

 

And every party at some point has doggedly ploughed on with those beliefs regardless of how the world may change.

 

It's laughable that Politicians will even say a local election defeat was not a 'defeat' as such but a good night 'considering the current climate.'

 

How many times have you heard a Politician say they made a mistake, they got their manifesto wrong and they need to change direction?

 

That's why I don't vote

I don't necessarily disagree but take a look at David Cameron.  He got a first class degree in economics, so in theory, he'd be well-placed to plot an economic strategy for the betterment of all the country.  However, within his first class degree would be various strategies that have been proven to help some while not helping others or worse.  So he has the knowledge to implement an economic strategy to help most people but in reality he chose the economic strategy to help mostly affluent Tory voters and rich people.  

Of course, you can say 'well he is a Tory' and he is, but I disagree with the thought that politicians are doing what they think is best for the country but rather what's best for them and enough to keep them in power - even if it deeply harms others.

Absolutely, there are some really good MPs working hard for the betterment of the country! 

But I think most just work for themselves and their own enrichment.  I don't think for one second that Cameron, Osborne or Johnson give nor gave a damn for this county or it's people's welfare.

Sadly at the end of the day a politicians loyalty lies with the party to which they belong, not their constituents.

Unless there is something with which they vehemently disagree a politician will toe the party line.

Although few, if any politicians completely approve of everything in their own party's manifesto
