I love aromatic Duck but I too am a bit thought it might be code.
Hope it was yummy - I made Chilli tonight - personally I think it was the best one I've ever made.

I must be a bit slow then because I automatically thought 'what is she cooking' and not about a baby
I never doubted your barren status LOL
Unusually no. I was a bit naughty really ...............I prepared it a bit earlier and had a small bowlful as I was hungry. Mr Woo came in and we had a portion each with some rice - then Mr Woo finished it off. Tres greedy
But it was nice - I've started to put a hint of cinnamon in - it really makes a difference.
You keep thinking that Sweet
*taps tummy* to the sound of a hollow bell
After raising my own, I'm horrified that anyone could eat anything as noble as a duck

I refuse to eat duck eggs - they could have been a beautiful creature

Did you got to school Renton?
The eggs we eat are unfertilized - they were never, ever gonna be cute little ducks - they are part of the ovulation process a by product. Even if everyone took a stand and said we're not gonna eat them - we'd still have unfertilized eggs.
I know but its the thought.
We are all peculiar about what we put in our mouthes - aren't we?

Sounds lovely Soozy. Do you mind me asking for your recipe? I'm in the mood for chilli but my last few efforts were a bit meh
OK - all rough - nothing measured
Fry large chopped onion, two garlic cloves and two chopped chiliis (depending on how hot you like it. I fry it in fry light.
Mix some ground black pepper, half tsp cinnamon, half a teaspoon of ground cumin into the minced beef - then add to onions.
Fry for a while then drain off excess fat. Add a tin of chopped tomatoes, some par boiled cut green beans and baby corns - a little boiling water and a knor beef stock pot. Cook for 25 mins.
I don't particularly like kidney beans but I think that'd be the norm to add - I sometimes put mushrooms in too.

Do you not eat chikkin eggs too?
Thanks Soozy. I have most of those ingredients except for the baby corn. Also I might use chilli powder instead of fresh, and soya beans for kidney beans.
Cumin has been in the cupboard for ages... never knew what to do with it

Same here. Who needs telly chefs, cooks, - it's common sense
I'm looking forward to the day when Nigella is stirring something vigorously and says,
