Dunno if you've seen Bluestone 42. It is set in an army camp in Afganistan and has a curiously old fashioned vibe. Very PC light. When I tell you its on BBC3 I know you'll never take the chance though. I promise it is the only thing I watch on BBC3!  I'm also loving Parks and Recreation on BBC4.

When I got married in Germany to my Scottish husband, one of the big pressies was a transportable black and white TV. The first show we watched on it was Dave Allan and I was hooked.

Awww! What a lovely memory.   He was and still is, in my view, a comedy legend.

Well I'm living longer than I was told. I feel a bit of a fraud now because when I was talking about it a couple of years ago, I really thought I'd had it, but it's only now that my quack and I have written down last wishes. My body seems to follow my mind (mind over matter and the mind is strong). I have to try and remember my weekly bone pill. That's the only peformance.
