He certainly doesn't sound Welsh, or like someone who lives in Essex. Quite a few people thought he was Irish, Stonks.
He sounds more like Cornwall with a bit of an American twang thrown in and considering he's lived in alot of places and his mother lives in America he bound to have a mixed accent..  but no Irish, if he sounds Irish, which county does he sound like he comes from?....

The only County in Ireland I've been to is County Wicklow, and Dublin. As I am not Irish, I don't feel qualified to make the comparison between Counties in Ireland.
Senora..congratulations. You are spot on. He sounds like a middle class lad from Dublin or Wicklow (broad Wiclow accents are rare) and most speak roughly along the lines of Dublin. When he went into the house I thought he was Irish too.

Stonks haven't a clue what that means. You'll have to translate for me. And your reply would suggest you are.
I said, "why would it make a difference to the arguement"..Co Sligo here and yes we have regional accents here the same as England and Mario does not sound Irish, he has a strange twang alright but I thing he has a mixed accent..But considering he was born near Venice in Italy thats not surprising....

It makes absolutely no difference to the argument Don't know what the need was to inform me about regional accents in Sligo, but hey ho, if you felt the need to tell me that, fair dues. I still think he sounds Irish as do many others on the forum, but only time will tell.
