But you really don't know that.
I remember the first time I ever posted on the old C4 BB site and I was jumped on just because I said I wasn't keen on a HM. I was told if that was the best I had to say for my first post perhaps I should go to another forum. I remember feeling like I had done something wrong and it was a while before I posted again.
 Since then I really don't care what other people think of my posts they are my opinions and I will voice them.

If you don't like a forum, then leave...

Why all the long essay about the whys and the wherefores?
If you have a controversial opinion then be expected to be confronted about it.

Or else just stay in the fun threads.

I agree with some of what you say Soozy, I can't understand why, whoever its is people don't like, they don't just stay away from their threads?

That's what people said last time he came back.  Some people really are completely unmistakable and just don't give up creating new IDs each time they get banned.  This person makes their former identity very, very obvious.

I would just put them on ignore. Feeding them only encourages them.

You should see it at election time  

Been reading the comments and the solution I tend to adopt is either to avoid threads made by people who are bound to piss me off or put them on ignore..

If you right click on the little gingerbread man next to the person's name, a screen will open and at the bottom it says "Blacklist".    Isn't that it? 

I tend to behave on the forum as I do in RL, i.e. chat to the nice people (of whom there are many) and avoid the nasty ones (of whom there are very few).

I dunno, where's Angel of the North when you need her? She'd have got rich on all the C word bandiage that's going on.

Thats what I do. I have never posted anything on a forum I wouldn't say normally. I think there is nothing worse than people who hide behind a keyboard to be rude.

No...all that does is stops them sending you pm's, writing on your wall, commenting on any blogs you may have and stuff like that.
