Each to their own, but IMO, someone needs their ears unclogging of wax if they think Amelia can't sing.
Okay I'll make it easy for you and everyone else on here who seem to think she's a great singer. Next time she performs, listen. Listen to the first part of the song, then listen to the chorus. As soon as she reaches a note she can't 'sing' she yells it. That basically means she has a very limited vocal range but can get away with it by shouting or yelling the note.
Tell-tale signs: the note is yelled in one long line with no intonation and no character just a long drone that tails off suddenly, just stops DEAD. That's what you get when someone is shouting because they can't control the note.
That's my last word on this except to say it's Kelly's fault for not teaching her how to sing properly and control the notes. She really should know better, maybe she can't be arsed I don't know. She probably thinks Amelia is popular enough with all the yelling anyway so why bother.

Disagree Prom 100%. You are clearly hearing something that we are not ... and Eileen over too....... Amelia is a rock singer and she sings like all the good rock singers.. yes she is a bit shouty, but that is part of her and her singing... Some people obviously like Janet's out of tune warbling, but it makes me wanna switch off... But Amelia is amazing IMO. It has to be a case of agreeing to differ... coz I can't agree that Amelia can't sing and she just shouts. I am 100% in disagreement.
