sorry got side tracked - night everybody

I don't watch every week but did tonight.  I thought Janet was the best - no one seems to like her though, why is that?

She has a frog in her throat trying to get out and she looks as miserable as sin....

Can't see why Janet was chosen over Amelia in the first place ..........one trick pony IMO.............and that one trick doesn't even appeal to me TBH.

I can see the miserable bit and I don't like her style sometimes but she was good tonight I thought

 

One should point out that as soon as the new twist was announced Amelia was 1/6 to return and fourth favourite to win. I suspect now that she is back she is shorter. However in spite of tonight's weaker performance I'm sure that Miss Hab will walk it. I wonder who will be in the sing off with Janet?

Yea I do but we really do need to remember that if a bookie thinks that a firm favourite isnt going to win.  The last people they would ever tell would be us because then they would make less money.  

She takes an iconic song and then puts a completely different tune to it. This does not improve the song - on the contrary it sounds worse.

I liked her in the auditions - now I just want to get some WD40 to oil that awful squeaky scratchy sound.

It wasn't great.. but I think it's down to the song tbh.   I think she sang in tune... but 'Don't Stop Me Now' doesn't work as a solo artist song imo.   I tihnk it misses the big Queen harmonies (almost 'wall of sound' - I know what I mean) - I defy any solo artist to do it justice.

He's a good singer... but he does less and less for me every week.  I really didn't like that arrangement and he leaves me cold now.   Biggest let down of the series so far for me.

I'm starting to like Little Mix a bit more every week... kinda having the opposite effect on me to Craig.  hey remind me a bit of the Sugababes - ok -  poppy, but good singers and I bet they'd put on a really glitzy stage show.
