He just looked to me like every jumped up little 18/19 year old who is king of his own little domain. He's then found himself in the big boys playground and, I expect, realising that there is alot more to this programme than a straight forward talent competition (which, I concede, he would have had no chance of winning).
He looked scared to death to me - I suspect that this is a big reality check for him

Actually ( and OMG I sound like a DM reader) I really do blame his parents. They clearly have encouraged this "world owes me a living" attitude.
"Gets out pince nez and looks disapprovingly over the top".
Besides there are other youngsters in the competition who are not behaving like him.
