Agreed, and that is what people need to remember. Matt was very ill. His vocal chords were ruined and haven't healed yet. And yet he still manages to belt notes in tune.

Even for a trained female vocalist to reach those notes with tonsillitis is bloody difficult. He could have took the easy route and not gone for falsetto tonight but good on him.

And not all great artists sing with perfect pitch, Matt's got passion in his voice and when he blasts it it echoes round the studio. Rebecca is shite at finishing her notes and often goes off key but it's the tone of her voice that's got her to the final.

Karma I absolutely respect what you say but I heard a dirge tonight that was out of tune and I just personally do not get what everyone sees in him

Justin Timberlake he ain't and he is the only male singer I can tolerate with a high voice.

If No Direction will I'll never watch XF again

I actually think Liam and Harry (Liam - Justin Beiber hair, Harry - curly hair) have got great voices. I wouldn't mind seeing them win cos at least they do have talent to back up the hype. (Not like Jedward)

As an aside, I watched the JLS tele special last night and I have to say they are bloody brilliant. I'm glad to see the UK showcasing some good vocal acts.

Cologne how do you quote?

If you go into Firefox, bring up the post box, then move it so you can see what you want to quote, highlight that and go back into the postbox, there you will find " quotation marks, click them and your highlighted text will come up in the box. Very convoluted, I know, but that's how that powers that be have set it up.

Forgetmenot and pretty go to cologne's thread about the scottish guy resigning over the weather and read all the posts. You'll find it how to fix your quoting problem in there.
Isn't this forum great - of course, if you want to know how to quote you go to a thread about a scottish guy and the weather.

It's obvious really
