I had to endure this crap show tonight as my niece was in and wanted to see it..Cher was shit,the boy bland were dull,Matt was boring,Mary is a pub singer,Rebecca is another ballad/shouty type.That is all.

Quite unusual! The point about Cher is that her performances were a little bit different and a lot more interesting. The rest of 'em are a bit too normal for my tastes. She really does need a lot of mentoring and support because I think she's not the finished article.

The alternative? Boy Band Bollocks. Matt and Rebecca same old, same old. They've already done that.

Mary picked up on 2 points Simon made on the main show and disagreed with him. So basically she sealed her own fate.

It has always been the public who chose who was in the final Cher is there by default.. the judges saved her, I can only imagine she  will be the first one out next week, there has always only ever been three in the final they seem to be going out of their way to accommodate Cher

We have never had four in the final before. I am glad I don't have to listen to Mary shout her way through the final.

After all her was slabbering about on Saturday night about staying true to herself and rapping, isn't it ironic that on both her save me songs she sang ballads?

Cher will be out first in the final but i'm delighted she's in the final. Syco are gonna screw up Matt Cardle IMO but he'll have to do what he's told .. I can see Cowell opting for Rebecca if Wands don't win because she's easier to manipulate.


Epic is way better if you look at what JLS and Olly have acheived there but Alexandra has done well at Syco because they've used her correctly so far.

How childish. People need to get a grip. She wasn't responsible for what happened on Sunday. She's got no control over anything on that show. I would be horrified if my daughter was being treated so badly.

They do need to get a grip longcat.  Mary was moaning on the front of the Mirror today about the injustice of it all.  She doesn't get that the X in X factor is a very stylised £ symbol.  Cher has got more marketability being pretty and young.  Mary should wake up and smell the coffee, she's on a glorified karaoke competition with all that, that implies.

I loved Rebecca's version of that song .... I thought that style of song really suited her ...... I was surprised how good she sounded

I am SO pleased I shall not be voting for her on staurday night ..... talk about diva behaviour & that's before she's made the big time. If I was going to vote, I would do so on the basis of the talent of the contestants, not on their behaviour.  Let's face it, if it was a personality contest, I don't think Rebecca would have got beyond the first couple of weeks either!

 Why would Dannii be proud?  The judges were allocated their categories, and the shortlisted contestants.  Surely the person who should feel proud would be the winner and their family?
