I thought Paije was very gracious in defeat, which always goes down well in my book.
There was no way on earth he should have been in the bottom two last night, let alone been booted out, Louis I'm disappointed with, he could at least have taken it to the public vote - unless of course that would have meant the chavvy one leaving, in which case it would have been out of the question, wouldn't it, Simon.

A DS member was at the show last night, heard Louis being told he could NOT take it to deadlock!!.Here is what the member wrote.
being the member in question, i can Say Cowell was no where to be seen so i'm not sure if he is as heavily involved in the decisions of the TV show as people make out. The producer didn't talk to him but clearly said Louis could not allow for a deadlock situation to occur. Louis looked visably upset and Dannii looked visably angry. Paije was standing literally 3 feet from them so must have heard it all, probably why he came out and gave his best performance by a mile.

Secondly, if you go to the show, you are made aware of the rules of the show and it states that the producers have the final say in the result, not the voters.

I just watched back the Xtra Factor show from sunday night that I recorded and saw Matt Cardoor's dig at Wagner, saying (while looking at Wagner) that it's a bad joke that some have been voted out of the show while "others" are still there .

Who the hell does Matt think he is?  he has no right what so ever in telling us who should and shouldn't be in the competition,  it's the public and judges to decide who stays or goes not his.

He is starting to believe his own press that he's the favourite to win and he's getting cocky and outspoken....he hasn't made it yet, he's no better than Wagner as they are both still in the same competition,  he should not be mouthing off at the other contestants, he is getting too big for his boots and isn't as shy as some make him out to be.

I still say he's an overblown pub singer and busker who got lucky on this show, time for him to stop flapping his gums unless he's singing.

BTW why was Louis getting so annoyed at the caller who said that Rebecca was poor this week?   firstly she was terrible on saturday and secondly shes not even his act, so why get so steamed up over her.

At least with his defence of Katie it's justified, as shes being judged for everything other than her singing (which is totally unfair)

I agree with the caller, whose main point was that the public clearly don't 'get' katie so why are the judges persistently trying to keep her in.

The sooner the judges lose their power the better.

Yeah Matt you hear that noise? It's you kissing your chances of winning away.

X Factor's Matt Cardle has admitted to confronting Wagner Carrilho about his behaviour on the ITV1 show.

It was reported in the tabloids last week that the pair had rowed at Friday's rehearsals and that Cardle had sworn at the Brazilian singer. The ex-painter and decorator has frequently been outspoken about Carrilho since Aiden Grimshaw was knocked out of the competition two weeks ago.

Speaking to X Magazine about the incident, Cardle said: "I just told him what I thought of him... The contestants are in a position where they feel they can't necessarily say what they want. But I can.

"And Wagner annoys a lot of people. So I went and told him exactly what I thought."

He added: "Yeah I swore at him. Yeah I was rude to him - but he's rude to everyone he meets. That's the way it is."

I applauded Matt on Sunday, but think he should've gone further and actually named Wagner.  What Matt said, is probably what all the contestents and the judges are thinking but are too cowardly to say.

As for Katie being kept in?  Simon knows what he is doing.  He is keeping the controversial ones in so that people continue to watch the show.  This show is getting worse year by year for being contrived and fixed.  A year or so ago, when another contestant had been in the bottom 2 three times, he got rid of her because of that.  This show has now lost any resemblance of being a talent show that it was clinging on to.

Oh and Matt or Rebecca to win!

What gives Matt the right to say that but?

I would rather watch Wagner over and over again because he entertains me and makes me laugh whereas Matt's voice sounds like nails down a blackboard to me and always have since boot camp. Each to their own, but I don't think Matt has any right to say Wagners position in the competition is a joke. The Judges put him through to judges houses, the voting public are spending their hard earned money to keep him in, Matt would need to remember no to bite the hand that feed him as he is basically slagging off the voting public.

Also, Wagner actually can sing, Louis just chooses songs that no where near compliments his voice.

I think it is called having an opinion and freedom of speech. Why shouldn't he voice his opinion?  He is not a robot, he has a mind of his own and is fully entitled to say what he is thinking and feeling.

As for Wagner being able to sing, well that is definitely a matter of opinion and an acquired taste - a taste I am happy to say I do not have
