When did anyone ever need any evidence to find someone a twat? If someone bothers you it need not have a rational explanation.

I can't stand Danyl because he overplays everything, his mike juggling, knee slides etc made me absolutely cringe. Also, did anyone else notice he didn't sing the half of that song, the backing track did.

Until a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't stand Danyl, but now he's grown on me and I really like him.  I don't know what it was that changed my mind - maybe something to do with people having a go at him.

According to DS it's all about making sure everything goes smoothly next week but it's probably to do with the public voting.

Yup, I have reasons to not like him... but why should I have to give reasons as to why?

I have just seen a video clip of somebody called Lucie shouting and screaming her way through My Funny Valentine.
She sings from the back of her throat so when she needs to give extra projection all she can do is resort to shouting. (Mind you this applies to lots of X Factor singers in recent years.)
Her diction was lazy:
"Sweet" became  `swee`
"heart" became `har`
"Greek" became `gree`
"weak" became `wee`.

Love that song Maybe they will win me over after all Darlo.

I've just read it could be about the song choices also.

 It sounded like it was done in the style of the backing track asking a question and then he'd answer it with the next line of the song to me...

 The funniest thing about the song choice argument this week was Louis going on about how he'd never get away with something like that, and then John & Edward sing a Ricky Martin song...

There was a horn section in 'She bangs' that's why it worked. I do like Simon Cowell but at times he is so hypocritical.

That was his argument for Jamie's song choice too wasn't it?

I don't think the show has anything to do with singing.

If it did why would you have fellers singing songs sung by females and visa versa?

And young male and female singers singing big bang songs, looney, it shows it's all about the show and the music and the judges and the show and trying to sell the show to the public etc, it has nothing to do whatsoever with the contestants and their singing.
Thats why you have the public picking who they like, if it was about the singing you wouldn't have the public within a mile, and you certainly wouldn't have 4 judges each with 3 acts to fight it out.

You would have 4 judges that have all the contestants between them and have their best interests at heart, and you certainly haven't got that with this format.

Too true Hicky..... and it's pretty much in parallel with the music industry in that sense.

I despair of the GBP I really do. I sat there open-mouthed at the results last night as the hideous twins and then that Eoghaoehaoneeonen mark 2 went through and my danyl was left in the bottom 2. Even Miss Frank were much better this week than last and last week they got through.
It must be all those little girls that vote,

The X Factor judge’s infectious single, Fight For This Love, sold more than 290,000 in the first week of its release, beating Alexandra Burke’s new single Bad Boys by over 100,000 units.

It's spelt 'Eoghan' I find it rude that you would spell it like this. My Boyfriends is called Eoghan, its a common name around here so just leave it out.

Relieved Danyl got through, as for the Twins that will be another fun performance.


x factor shock sparks crisis talks

glad miss frank went, they were terrible, rachel to go next hopefuly.

One assumes that Cowell put Danyl in the last two to see how he could handle it. He did it rather well IMHYCO. He is very accomplished with bags of X Factor.
Maybe Cowell thinks that Rachael, Lloyd, Stacey, and the twins can go any time to suit in order  to leave the decent acts to fight it out, but meanwhile he's trying to see just how good Danyl is?

Danyl, won't win x-factor- he has zero likeability factor. I absolutely cannot abide him and can't wait til he goes.

I suppose Danyl shouldn't be confident at all then, you got to believe in yourself but some are confusing it as arrogance he just wants to do well for himself nothing wrong in that is there or what is the point of entering the show?. Give me that anyday rather than the contestants being vulnerable with no confidence at all.

Dan Yell was brilliant on Saturday, but there's something about him that irritates.
