Hoping Stacey does well tonight. Ooh Westlife on squeeeeeeeeeeeee
I thought that she was copying Stacey but no one I mentioned it too agreed! Maybe she is thinking that if she is more loveable she will stay in?
Looking forward to Michael Buble also, he is such a nice guy and love his music he really does have such a smooth voice and lots of charisma.
Cheryl Cole's debut is number one
Cole is using the same song writers as US star Christina Aguilera |
Cheryl Cole's first release as a solo artist, Fight For This Love, has gone straight to the top of the charts.
The song is the fastest-selling single of the year so far, with more than 290,000 sales.
The Girls Aloud singer, whose album comes out on Monday, said getting to number one had put "a permanent smile on her face".
Cole knocked X Factor's Alexandra Burke - another former reality TV show contestant - off the top of the charts.
Cole said: "I'm just getting over the fact I have recorded my solo record and now it's number one.
"I can't take this all in. It's hard for me to put into words how I feel. I have this permanent smile on my face."
Cole had been hot favourite to reach number one since performing the song on the X Factor for 12.7 million viewers last week.
World's sexiest woman
Her profile has been rising since her stint as a judge on the show.
She was on the cover of the UK edition of Vogue in February, and was named the world's sexiest woman by readers of FHM magazine in April.
Fight For This Love was premiered on BBC Radio One and was written by Andre Merritt, Steve Kipner and Wayne Wilkins.
They had previously penned material for R&B stars such as Chris Brown, Christina Aguilera and Rihanna.
Martin Talbot from the Official Charts Company said: "Many congratulations to Cheryl Cole on her fantastic achievement.
"Other than X Factor winners, very few singles get anywhere near 300,000 sales in their first week.
"In doing just that this week, Cheryl has shown just what a favourite she is with the British music-buying public."
Burke's single Bad Boys, featuring US rap star Flo Rida, is now number two in the charts.
Whitney Houston forced her way into the top 10 with her single Million Dollar Bill claiming fifth spot.
It's time ... to face ... the music
Don't like Dermot either, the only one he loves is himself, a but like Brucie.
Oh... wait... no, I mean this is a crap song
Because they were in tune
Rachel's transformation from sulky girl to party girl in the space of 7 days is jaw-dropping isn't it, lol.
Looking forward to Michael Buble's performance tonight.
I did read a rumoured voting leak earlier on DS but they have been wrong before.
