He's the only good one there

Stacyey can sing, and I like Rachel, but the song choice, and outfits for them was wrong.

Rachel was one of my faves in the audition , but hasn't been given a decent song.
She's also very good looking....... if she ditched the shaved side of head look, she'd be stunning

I thought Jamie was the best last night, closely followed by Stacey and Danyl, like him or loathe him, he's got a good voice.

Lloyd, the twins, Miss Frank, Rachel and (somewhat surprisingly) Lucie were the worst.

Whoever it was that said they thought Lloyd's version of Bleeding Love was better than Leona's needs to book themselves in for a hearing test as soon as possible.

X-Factor Cheryl Misguided?

Chery;

The 'X Factor' judge - who mentors the boys - struggled to control her emotions after she was criticised by Simon Cowell

Cheryl Cole broke down in tears last night (17.10.09) over fears she has "let down" her contestants.

The 'X Factor' judge - who mentors the boys - struggled to control her emotions after she was criticised by Simon Cowell for choosing Leona Lewis' 'Bleeding Love' for her 16-year-old contestant Lloyd Daniels to perform.

I think you're talented, you're likeable, but you're not being directed properly at the momentSimon Cowell

Giving his views on the blonde teenager's performance, Simon said: "I'm going to put the blame with Cheryl. She's not working with you properly, understanding you properly, providing you with the right material to do well.

"I think you're talented, you're likeable, but you're not being directed properly at the moment."

When talent show presenter Dermot O'Leary asked Cheryl how she felt Lloyd had performed, the 26-year-old judge's face crumbled.

She sobbed: "I take full responsibility for the song. I found it really tough this week, it was diva week..." "I feel like I've let him down."

Lloyd jumped off the stage and raced over to comfort his mentor. The pair held hands and hugged as Cheryl mouthed, "I'm sorry."

Once Lloyd returned to the stage, the Girls Aloud star was hugged by Simon.

But the music mogul blasted Cheryl again over her choice of song for Scottish contestant Ricki Loney - who performed an Amy Winehouse number.

Simon said: "I don't think you're being advised properly at the moment."

Cheryl is due to perform on the results show tonight (18.10.09).

This evening's show will also see singing sensation Whitney Houston return to the stage to perform a track from her new album 'I Look to You'.

X Factor supremo Brian Friedman tips John and Edward Grimes to win

X Factor 2009: John and Edward Grimes [Pic: Rex Features)

Dance supremo Brian Friedman has revealed who he's backing to go all the way to the final... the terrible twins.

Choreographer Brian - the brains behind dance routines for Janet Jackson and Britney Spears - said John and Edward Grimes are "so bad they're good". He said: "The boys are totally insane to watch in rehearsals - but they have a huge fan base. Out of everyone, they are the contestants that everyone is talking about. They are so bad that they are good.

"I enjoy working with them on their set - it's so theatrical and over the top." Brian - the show's creative director - also revealed his thoughts on who else will last through to the final. "Danyl is amazing to watch and very professional," he said.

"But there are some real dark horses this year. Miss Frank nailed Whitney's All The Man this week. They are ladies with huge voices and will do well. My other favourites are Rachel Adedeji and Lucie Jones. I think they both have incredible talent and considering they are so young they really seem to pick things up well."

Brian also voiced concerns for judge Louis Walsh, who will miss tonight's show following Boyzone star Stephen Gately's funeral yesterday.

He said: "Everyone's worried for him. The X Factor is not the same without Louis."

What's the problem. The guy was at a wake. He could hardly miss that, or turn up pissed because he left early. It's not like: oh no, Louis has not been seen for days, perhaps he's shot himself. If not tonight then no doubt he'll be back next week.
