Stacey gets right on my nerves when she speaks. She may have a lovely singing voice bit when she squeaks  I mean speaks.......grrrrrrrrr

I've not been as interested this year, there's no one really special that stands out. I've seen other singers in clubs or pubs that have been better
I agree .........although I'm happy with the final three TBH. I wont be voting though as I really dont#'t care which one wins .......................don't think any of them will make it big unless someone takes hold of Joe and gives him a mahoooooooooooooooosive makeover .................looks/personality etc.

Personally I'd have swapped Danyl for Ollie, although I think Ollie seems comfortable in front of an audience and natural as a performer but I just don't see him as a pop singer...in fact it annoyed me at the many times he said he wants to be a pop star...why doesn't he say he wants to be a singer, or a performer, there are many ways to have a musical career other than being a "pop star"

Whoever wins, looks like it will be Joe, will probably have some success just because of X Factor hype, whether any of them last the test of time like the greats is another matter

'X Factor' Jacko week draws 12.4m

The X Factor semi-final performances show drew a solid 12.36m (49.5%) for ITV1 between 8pm and 9.30pm on Saturday night, early figures suggest.

The latest instalment, which saw the remaining four contestants perform Michael Jackson songs, was up slightly on the previous week's ratings and up significantly on the 9.72m (39.2%) who saw the equivalent episode of last year's series.

ITV2's The Xtra Factor logged 769k (3.6%) in the hour after the ITV1 show.

Danyl Johnson's just done an interview on This Morning

Given how much Danyl Johnson clearly wanted to win The X Factor, he's being very gracious about falling at the semi-final hurdle. Talking to Pip and Fern just now on This Morning, the former school teacher said, "It's quite sad, but I'm so proud of them [the X Factor finalists]. They've worked really hard and they deserve it." Danyl also talked about all the negative press he'd received, saying speculatively, "They just wanted to pick on something. We weren't giving them what they wanted, so they picked on every little bit of news." Asked by Pip if he'd really had any run-ins with mentor Simon Cowell, Danyl laughed and said, "Would you argue with Simon Cowell? No one tells him what to do!" Danyl refused to comment much on his plans for the future, saying instead, "It's about the winner right now. I just want to see what happens." Danyl said he wants to hug Olly as the winner next Sunday, but added that Joe was "amazing" and Stacey a "dark horse". We think he might be right. Are you sad that Danyl didn't make it to the final?

I was delighted when Danyl went. I dont like him. (and that's my pre-watershed opinion). Just saw him on TM and already he has been briefed on how to handle interviews. As fake as Jordans tits, he has just never been believable to me.The only person worthy of winning based on consistency and potential of longevity is Joe. Olly will do ok, but I dont know how long for. I think Stacey will fade within 6 months (if she doesn't win), and even if she does, cant see her sticking around long.

Meh, they'll clean up 100 grand each for the x factor tour, plus post interviews and selling their stories to some red top, they'll set themselves up for a few years anyway.

Was Ms. Jackson singing live? It certainly didnot seem that way to me. As for who went, I'm glad Stacey stayed....that's about it. Joe has a nice voice but all can see him doing is a lot of Westlife-esque ballads and Olly's dancing brings on Mrs. Bleads arthritis. Never liked Danny's tone or silly mike-swapping antics. And why is he always sing women's power ballads? Thought Mrs. Gaga was super, really super.

Lady Gaga tops bill with X Factor stars Jedward

Lady Gaga and Janet Jackson were joined on stage by the year's most unlikely breakthrough act at the weekend.

Lady Gaga tops bill with X Factor stars Jedward

X Factor stars John and Edward made a surprise guest appearance at the Jingle Bell Ball in London.

Jedward joined The Saturday's, Chipmunk, N-Dubz and JLS on the line-up for the O2 Arena gig.

John said: "I can't beleive we're here right now being interviewed."

The duo are backing Stacey Solomon to win The X Factor now she is through to the final

The X Factor mentors - Cheryl Cole, Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh - could have a member of every category in next year's show.

Under current X Factor rules, judges Cheryl Cole, Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh are given a single category each, but Louis and Cheryl have backed a new system where the mentors are given one act from each category.

The suggestion that each mentor should have one act from the groups, the males, the females and the over-25s was made by a caller on The Xtra Factor, and it seems like the idea has already been floated by Simon Cowell and the producers of the show.

Louis said: "I think it is a very good idea... That's a very good idea, Simon what do you think to that idea?"

Dannii said that Cheryl had made the suggestion "ages ago" and Simon Cowell said he was considering it.

Cheryl added: "I think it's exciting".

We LOVE the idea and it would be the fairest way of splitting up the acts - and maybe Louis Walsh can avoid the dreaded groups category again!

I don't think Ms Jackson was singing Live.

Jedward to perform on 'X Factor' final?

John & Edward are rumoured to be returning for a special performance on the X Factor final.

The Irish Grimes twins, who were the seventh act voted off this year's show, have been tipped to play a festive hit on next weekend's show. The duo performed a cover of Wizzard's 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday' at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball on Saturday and Sunday.

When asked about the possibility of Louis Walsh's act returning on last night's Xtra Factor, Cowell said: "You'll have to wait and see next week's show, won't you?"

Speaking about the lineup for the final, the 50-year-old judge said: "There are going to be Christmas songs and the duets have just been confirmed today... It's our best line-up yet."

George Michael, Coldplay and Sir Paul McCartney are reportedly signed up to perform with the three finalists.

Olly Murs, Joe McElderry and Stacey Solomon will compete for the X Factor crown in next week's final, which starts on Saturday at 7.30pm on ITV1.
