I've read what Lucie apparently said about Danyl and yes I agree he's not as wonderful as Simon seems to think he is, the OTT standing ovations Simon does get on my nerves but what Danyl is though is himself and despite all the criticism I think has turned a corner.

Lucie was good I liked her but I think her going out against John and Edward has got her more publicity etc than what she would get if against someone like Lloyd, in fact they have done her a favour but at least Danyl lasted longer than her anyway.

Louis Walsh: β€˜Girlbands are too high maintenance’

louis-walsh

X Factor judge Louis Walsh has admitted that he doesn’t like working with girlbands. The music manager, who once managed Girls Aloud told The Irish Independent that he finds it much easier to work with boys….I bet he does!

Louis said:”They’re high-maintenance. It’s easier to manage boybands. Less hairspray, less make-up, less baggage.”

Louis Walsh was also very dismissive of Kandy Rain and Miss Frank who he mentored in this year’s X Factor.

Speaking about Kandy Rain, who left in week one, he told the Irish Independent: β€œWell, we’ve forgotten them already.” On Miss Frank, who left in the third week, he said: β€œThey never really gelled; three different personalities. That’s girl groups for you.”

X-Factor contestant Danyl Johnson has claimed Whitney Huston "absolutely hated him" for singing one of her unreleased songs on the show.
The 27-year-old teacher said the American pop star, who mentored the contestants for one week, disliked him for singing I Didn't Know My Own Strength which is yet to be released in the UK.

Asked which was his least favourite celebrity guest on the show, Johnson said: "Whitney absolutely hated me."

He then added, sarcastically: "She loved the fact I was singing a song she hadn't released yet."

He went on: "She was actually still quite nice but sort of didn't like the fact I was singing the song, but there you go. That was the worst one."

He later clarified: "I was singing a song she hadn't released in the UK yet so she wasn't very happy."

His remarks came prior to a secret gig in London, held by X-Factor sponsors TalkTalk, where the four remaining contestants - Johnson, Stacey Solomon, Olly Murs and Joe McElderry - sang for a select group of fans.

Johnson also addressed criticism he has faced throughout the competition, which includes suggestions that he was arrogant.

He said: "At the beginning when I first auditioned it was a bit massive and over-hyped so I think it's balanced itself out. I'm back in the middle and that's fine.

"The other contestants have been really sweet about it."

The boys former management company, Modest Management, had the boys lined up to sing at various clubs around the UK. However Louis Walsh signed the boys this week and has taken the decision to scrap planned appearances. He is reportedly keen for the boys to have some down time and wants them to attend The Jingle Bell Ball this week.

Louis told BBC news that he was β€œdelighted” to be working with the brothers again.

X Factor 2009: Danyl Johnson and Olly Murs give up on winning!

Olly Murs

X Factor semi finalists Danyl Johnson and Olly Murs have reportedly given up on winning this year’s X Factor.

The pair are said to be struggling to learn the winner’s song, Hannah Montana’s The Climb and are convinced that Simon chose it for either Stacey Solomon or Joe McElderry.

A show source told The Sun: β€œOlly and Danyl have just given up on winning now. They have thrown in the towel.

β€œThey hate the song so both of them just look defeated.

β€œThey realise Simon now wants Joe and Stacey in the final based on the winner’s song as it only really suits them.”

John and Edward Grimes were reportedly hauled off stage after being targeted with bottles during a nightclub performance.

The X Factor finalists were halfway through a four-song show at Barnsley's Escapade nightclub when security stepped in and guided the 18-year-olds away.

The duo were expected to follow their performance with a meet-and-greet in the VIP area, according to the Daily Mail. The twins said that they were "disappointed" that the show was cut short, adding: "We didn't even get to sing 'Ghostbusters'."

Nightclub manager Bruce Drummond said that he has officially complained about the security team's handling of the situation. "It was their choice to pull them out which looks bad on us and on the boys," he said.

"The twins were brilliant and what happened is no reflection on them. They were loving the performing and chatting to the fans. I don't think their management team gave them a fair crack at it. They were calling the shots in quite a military fashion."

It emerged earlier this week that the twins' former mentor Louis Walsh has signed a deal with the Irish duo. Walsh will co-manage the brothers with Ashley Tabor, CEO of broadcasting company Global Group.

I've seen the video of that Hicky, they look disappointed when the security staff dragged them off the stage. Why do some idiots pay money to see the Twins if they don't like them to simply cause trouble?.

I've seen their schedule and it's very busy, they won't have much time off but you got to make the most of it while you can... will these PR people be as much interested in the four left?, I doubt it but if i'm wrong.
