I tend to agree. Beyonce has a lot of power in her voice, but she proper shouts half the time. I liked at least half a dozen destinys child hits, but as a solo, she sucks IMO. The halo effect I think; because Rihanna and Beyonce are conventionally attractive and sexy, people seem to overlook the fact that Beyonce shouts a lot and Rihanna can NOT sing.
i like beyonce, even though she does scream too much - with her though, i think the songs are class, it makes all the difference
