Why all the shock about Olly being in the sing off?, he's peaked imo I really have gone off him a lot... he so didn't expect to be there at all and people go on about Danyl being cocky. He had a face of thunder on Xtra Factor when Danyl was getting nice comments from a caller yesterday I watched it again and noticed it.
Olly is better getting back to his entertaining self... it's a right borefest to watch when they just stand there and sing you got to put on a show. They should give them all a John and Edward production now they have gone.
Joe is going to win.. I think he's great.
I do want Olly to win though.
He's not going to give them bad songs to learn is he?
Oh and I didn't like the audience booing him either, they should be told to shut up. He's going to be the next target now on Saturday, it's like a BB eviction audience.
He looks so much younger.
If they did it at a sporting event they would probably get thrown out.
I think it's disgraceful behaviour.
If you don't like them you should keep quiet.
That's only my opinion mind.
Christiano Ronaldo also had to put up with foul and disgraceful abuse too. (Though TBF that was me )
X Factor: John and Edward Grimes changed final song just before Sundayâs show
November 23rd, 2009 by Lisa McGarry.
Outgoing X Factor singers John and Edward Grimes, have revealed that they changed their sing off song just an hour before the live show.
Last night the boys sang Boyzoneâs âNo Matter Whatâ, against Olly Murs rendition of âWonderful Tonightâ. Today during an interview on This Morning, host Holly Willoughby said: âEvery time Iâve played it back to you, there and when I played it back to you in the X Factor studio, youâve both goneâĶ eurrgh.â
Jedward back Stacey to win
Twins John and Edward Grimes have backed Londoner Stacey Solomon to go all the way in The X Factor and win the million pound record contract.
The twins were booted out of the hit show on Saturday after the judges voted three to one against them.
They had been in the bottom two with Olly Murs who up until the weekend had proven popular with the public voters.
The boys urged viewers to get behind their favourite acts now that the final result will no longer be decided by the four judges and purely on the public vote.
Citing Olly as a surprising act to be left in the bottom two, the Grimes twins said that no one was safe and that if people have a favourite they need to pick up the phone and vote.
The boys assured their fans that despite reaching the end of the road on The X Factor they will be seeing them regularly performing in a number of locations over the next few weeks.
X Factor twins Jedward in line for ÂĢ2m consolation prizes
Industry experts said that the 18-year-old Irish twins, nicknamed Jedward, could make about ÂĢ2 million over the next year on the back of the crazy costumes and hyperactive dance moves that characterised their routines on the ITV talent show.
Although the twinsâ musical performances leave a lot to be desired, they already have more than 100 private bookings, on top of the official X Factor tour, each of which will earn them a minimum of ÂĢ20,000.
Three publishers are in a bidding war to secure their autobiography â which could be rushed out to catch the Christmas market and bring them in ÂĢ250,000 â and executives at the Disney Channel are understood to be considering inviting them to become television presenters.
The pair said yesterday that they would consider any offers that came their way. âWeâd like to do different things in future,â said John. âRight now our main focus is The X Factor and music but we still want to pursue different things. You never know whatâs going to happen. Itâs about keeping doors open. Itâs all about moving forward in the right direction.
âWe have to reinvent ourselves â itâs about doing it for all the fans because, without them, we wouldnât have done as great as we have. Weâre living our dream. Weâre so amazed to be on stage and weâre staying focused on keeping the creative energy going.â
In common with the other X Factor finalists, the Grimes twins are locked into a contract with Modest Management for a four-month âcooling-offâ period after the programme finishes, during which they cannot enter into any commercial deals without the permission of Simon Cowell, who runs the show. During that time they will embark on the 30-date official X Factor tour of Britain and Ireland with the other contestants, for which they will be paid ÂĢ180,000, and will schedule their other appearances around those commitments.
Edward said: âThe tour is coming up next year so weâre really excited about that. We just want to throw ourselves into that. Weâd love to do all that stuff like TV shows because we feel like we have so much more to give. Our fans are so dedicated and we canât leave them standing around the place, so we need to keep supporting them so that all the Jedward memorabilia like T-shirts donât go out of date.â
The twins are also likely to land product endorsement deals worth hundreds of thousands of pounds â a natural fit being hair styling gels, sprays and mousses. Brylcreem, however, is out of the running, as the company supports only one âBrylcreem Boyâ at a time and Kevin Pietersen, the England cricketer, holds that title. Louis Walsh, the judge who acted as Jedwardâs mentor on the show, said that they would be missed. âThey just love pop music. The showâs not going to be the same without them, the fun is out of The X Factor. Iâve had the best time working with these guys. I feel young again.â
He added that some of the criticism of the pair was unfair, and that they had improved over the course of the show. âTheyâre actually getting better,â he said. âThey can dance a bit and they can sing a bit.â
Doh.
Lloyd threatens to quit 'X Factor'
24/11/2009 - 13:24:28âX Factorâ contestant Lloyd Daniels is the second finalist to threaten to quit the show.
The 16-year-old singer reportedly broke down in tears over judge Louis Walshâs criticism of his singing, after he said he âcanât believeâ Lloyd is still in the competition.
Nevertheless, Lloyd survived another week as one of the most popular acts with viewers, and escaped the sing off between the bottom two acts.
However, afterward he reportedly told producers: âI'm going, I canât carry on.â
Speaking on âX Factorâ companion show âThe Xtra Factorâ Louis said he thought Lloyd should have been in the sing-off rather than Olly Murs.
He said: âI thought it would have been Lloyd in the bottom two because he's been there, like, three times. Olly did not deserve to be in the bottom two.â
A show insider said Lloyd was shaken by the comments and also upset by the studio audienceâs reaction.
A show insider told the Daily Mail newspaper: âLloyd was in a terrible state after the show. It has got a bit too much for him. Being told that you belong in the bottom two is devastating for any of the contestants and Lloyd is really young.
âAlso, when he was not put into the bottom two, the audience started booing loudly, which is a lot to take on for a young lad.
âHe will be OK, he just had a knock on Sunday night and the pressure is really on. After all, thereâs only three weeks left on the show.â
Their all so full of sh*t Jamie, Danyl and Lloyd.
A good theme.
John and Edward been linked with I'm A Celeb.
john and edward entering im a celeb?.
That would be so funny if they did, don't think they will though. Philip Schofield wants them on Dancing on Ice, so lots of offers to consider...
X Factor coach says she wants to be maid of honour at Stacey Solomon and Olly Murs' wedding
By Jody Thompson, Mirror.co.uk 24/11/2009
The X Factorâs voice coach Yvie Burnett says she's been been teasing Stacey Solomon and Olly Murs about their ongoing flirting â and has been joking she's going to have a starring role at their wedding.
Talking to new! magazine, Yvie, 46, said she would love to see the pair settle down together.
She explained: "Weâve all been teasing them about it. Iâve just been with them and was having a tease like everyone else was.
"They just laugh it off. Theyâre just good mates as far as I know, but theyâre really lovely together and itâs great that theyâve got each other.
"Who knows what will happen? Theyâre from similar backgrounds, so they obviously have a lot in common, so letâs see. If they do fall in love, though, I want to be Maid of Honour at the wedding!"

Irish twins John and Edward Grimes will be making a special one-off performance as well as meeting fans at Chicago Rock Cafe.
It is part of an exclusive agreement with the X Factor contestants which has seen Miss Frank, Ethan Boroian and Lucie Jones perform at the venue â with Jamie Archer on stage this coming Sunday.
Stefan Boxall, manager of Chicago Rock, said a big crowd was expected for the twins' gig on December 6.
'We can't wait. It's going to be an awesome night,' he said. 'We are looking at the possibility of extra security.
'We want everything to be safe. It's more of a precaution than a necessity. Every artist that comes has their own security anyway.
'But we will have one or two extra security staff just to make sure everyone is aware we are nice and safe.'
John and Edward have divided a nation for their appearances on the ITV show, including the memorable Ghostbusters routine.
The 18-year-olds from Dublin eventually lost in a sing-off to crowd favourite Olly Murs on Sunday night.
Mr Boxall said of them: 'It's one of those love-hate relationships.
'People have grown to love them over the period of time they have been on the show. They want to come down and see them for themselves.
'With John and Edward, it's more of a panto thing.
'They are two guys living a dream who have tried to get as far as they could in the competition. And it was the public keeping them in. People like having someone to boo. It will be great â an electric atmosphere.
'I don't think anybody thought they would win it.
'From all accounts, they are a nice couple of lads and you can't blame them for doing what they have done.'
Tickets, which are already on sale, cost ÂĢ10 or ÂĢ15 including a meet and greet. Doors will open at 7pm.
. âAlso, when he was not put into the bottom two, the audience started booing loudly, which is a lot to take on for a young lad. âHe will be OK, he just had a knock on Sunday night and the pressure is really on. After all, thereâs only three weeks left on the show.â
X Factor stars Jedward get their own private jet
By Mirror.co.uk 25/11/2009
X Factor's Jedward have been given a private jet so they can get to all their personal appearances.
Twins John and Edward Grimes have been inundated with requests for mini-concerts at clubs and TV and radio interviews.
Their schedule includes The Late Show in Dublin on Friday and on Sunday they are booked for T4's Stars of 2009 event in London and a gig in Glasgow just hours later. A source said: "The boys don't want to let anyone down."
You can see the twins' T4 interview on Channel 4 on Sunday at 3pm.
All acts to dance on this week's X Factor
All of the remaining acts on The X Factor will be dancing on Saturday, according to the show's creative director.
Brian Friedman says now John and Edward are gone, the plan is to give all the finalists routines to learn.
The choreographer said: "I could have to cut some of it if they're really terrible but we should see everyone dancing, even Danyl."
Mentor Dannii Minogue revealed earlier this week the theme is Take That and Elton John songs this week, although Friedman would not confirm: "You never know when the theme's going to change."
Speaking of rumours twins Jedward could be heading to the Australian jungle to join I'm A Celebrity, Friedman added: "It would be terrible, that's all I know."
X Factor's Lucie Jones at Chicago Rock Cafe TONIGHT!
8:00am Wednesday 25th November 2009
WELSH singer Lucie Jones â who was at the centre of controversy on the X Factor a couple of weeks ago â will be appearing live at Chicago Rock CafÃĐ in Yeovil TONIGHT.
Lucie was knocked out of the hit TV show when judge Simon Cowell gave his backing to Irish twins John and Edward.
It meant that the vote went to deadlock and with Lucie receiving the least number of public votes it meant that she was eliminated from the show.
That sparked a wave of protests from X Factor fans saying that the wrong act had been kicked out.
But X Factorâs loss is Yeovilâs gain as the talented Lucie will be appearing at Chicago Rock CafÃĐ in Stars Lane, Yeovil, tonight (Wednesday, November 25).
Doors open at 7pm with the entertainment starting from from 8pm. Admission is ÂĢ5 payable on the door that night.
Another X Factor finalist, Jamie Archer, will be appearing at Chicago Rock next Wednesday (Dec 2).
X Factor to pay tribute to two acts
The themes for this week's 'X Factor' have been announced, with the contestants set to perform the songs of two different acts.
According to The Sun, both Take That and Elton John will be honoured on the show this week.
A source said: "The plan is for the acts to do one up-tempo number and a more ballady one to show off both sides of their voices."
"Learning two songs is killing them."
The source also said that choreographer Brian Friedman will be working closely with the remaining acts this week.
"Brian is having to come up with loads of energetic dance routines for them."
"Some, like Olly and Danyl, are convinced that the key to their survival is down to them having a big performance."
