Lucie sings from the back of her throat rather than her diaphragm, though. This gives her a sort of strangulated sound and when she needs more projection or volume it causes her to shout.
Leon (previous) winner had a similar problem and has had a lot of throat problems.
Lucie needs coaching.

I've just watched the "Xtra Factor" on ITV2 for the first time and they seemed to be showing extra audition footage.

So the contestants really sing two or three songs at the homes then and we only see very small highlights in the main show?

I didn't know that ... but I thought they must do ...... If I were one of the judges I'd be wanting to see something upbeat as well as a ballad.

I thought they couldn't just choose from that 1 song.

Seemed like it was two each ..... makes you wonder if we see the best of them in the highlights...

The terrible twins seemed to be singing a Bros song - badly

Louis is a complete joke. Those twins are brutal. Folk were ringing up the radio station in Irl and saying that they are terrible, both in singing and attitude

Unless they do a "McDonald Brothers" and gain public support - although they were not nearly as bad or as annoying as those twins.

The scary thing is that the evil twins are by far the best of the six groups!  I've never heard six worse acts to have got so far in a talent show as the groups this year.

I think Louis has the right idea - the twins could be HUGE!!!!

If they learnt some good dance moves they could be really ACE....like a little irish version of Kris Kross.

I think the groups are the weakest by far this year though I do like the newly formed 3 singer group (I forget their name) It's going to be tough for all the judges this year but may the  most talented group/singer win  regardless of who their mentor is

Personally, I always find the groups boring ..... I always prefer to watch the individual acts more
