Darlo. It's a sad reflection on society that those who seek fame or become famous through their particular art form can often attract sick people. Fame and fortune doesn't mean an idyllic life that's for sure. As I've said I'm no fan but recognise they seem pretty level headed and take it all in their stride. Hopefully the sicko's will be stopped in their tracks, and traced through their online activity.

i like cheryl in the fact she won't take any crap off the other judges...she made a massive mistake with rikki though...

lloyd i think probably got through for being 'cute'.......and so far its worked....when he sings what he wants to sing he isn't bad....he just falls down on when he's forced into a corner to sing certain songs....and she should have realised that....

I think she thought well it worked for Alexandra last year.  The problem was there was a very good reason he didn't make it previously. He just wasn't good enough. It's weird really, he kinda has a look you'd assume would be popular, and his voice was ok. I suppose he was just missing that "x" they keep banging on about?   (either that or he cried too much.....)

I actually quite like his voice..... but it just isn't quite as good as I want it to be. Tis frustrating!

It was a shame about Susan Boyle YR... I was glad she didn't win I found her so overhyped and overrated, she was pushed to a breakdown by the stress of it all, not winning was the best thing for her she seems nice and she's got an ok voice. DIVERSITY the winners were ace yesterday with the newsreaders.
Even without winning she suffered more than she should have been subjected to, I thought it was sickening the way some of the Press and many Brits spoke about her. The US public were more accepting, they concentrated on her talent, not her looks.

Personally I don't usually like theatrical/show type voices but when she sang I Dream The Dream I got chills. At her age I'm glad she's now living her dream.

I love Diversity

It's all a matter of opinion but Joe was certainly better than Danyl last night and I'm sure that they will be the final last two. If there is a last two. Who knows? Olly? Neither Mrs C nor I can see the appeal. He has great stage presence but he can't sing as well as those two.
Surely it's Lloyd and  the twins up for eviction tonight. I can't see any other possible twist.

Good Evening Everyone.

A quick report on seeing Diana yesterday afternoon.
-------------------
What a day I had in London.

Had a brill day had loads of spare time, arrived about 4 & 1/2 hours early for the performance, went on a 2 hr tour of London on one of the topless buses, very good anyway.

I'll tell you a bit more about the show later, just to say it was worth every penny, I was speechless for the whole way through, Diana was an actress for 2 & 1/2 Hours, Wow, don't know how she does it, I had a tear in my eye the whole time, and when Diana was taking off singing stars it was like she had become them, she emulates Julie Andrews, Marilyn Manroe, Shirley Bassey, Cilla Black, Marianne Faithfull, Dusty Springfield, Judy Garland, and the power in Diana's voice, in nearly lifted the roof off.

There wasn't even one empty seat in the Stalls, don't know about the dress circle and upper circle, but think it was a sellout, every one absolutely loved the show.
You couldn't not love it.

The stage set was great, a split house part revolving set with 2 floors, all the Stars of the show were fantastic, Mari her Mother (Lesley Sharp) was fantastic as well, with Mother & Daughter on stage for virtually all of the 2 & 1/2 hours.

I was surprised looking at the Audience, they were of all ages, I rather expected some youngish fans with it being a Matinee , but they were all a bit older than that, think it's a must for all her fans firstly, but for shear entertainment it was a fantastic show for everyone, pretty adult language from her Mother.

The lighting and the pyrotechnics and special effects are fantastic.
Diana was out of this world, she sure is a Star.

Glad I was able to see the show anyway.
I would mind going to see it again as well.

You have all got to try and see the show somehow, even if it's a Birthday or Chrimbo pressie, you just have to see it.
