Totally agree, he was by far the best that year and should not have lost to Leon who was crap every week

Leon should have been eliminated in the first week of live shows that series.

How he went on to win remains a mystery... Of course his album struggling to hit 200k sales made it even more curious...

Oh dear Leon was awful. Rhydian was a close second to Same Difference for me that year. I always love the marmite acts like Diana Vickers, now currently going through it again with Danyl Johnson and John and Edward.

Same Difference did have quite good voices, but never really got a chance to show it as Simon gave them awful songs every week

I loved the fact they had fun on stage and were very close, they certainly could sing.


Silly X-Factor made it into England vs Wales vs Scotland rivalry.


Still enjoying JLS, they're on CIN tonight.

My favourites are Jedward (now theres a surprise) and I like Joe and Stacey (when she doesn't speak) but every year its the same, one or two acts get slaughtered,its all part of the evil Cowells plan. I think every one of the present contestants are good and moreover very brave to sing live each week.

Joe is going to win. Olly and Stacey are nowhere near him but this will be the final 3.


I still can't believe Joe is only 18, he looks about 19/20 at least...

I am not into that dancing stuff (Which is why i dont like John and Edward), so i would have preferred them to have sang normal songs without all that crappy dancing

Surely some mistake Darlo.  Joe is very good but I can't see them converting him into a pop star, he'll need an awful lot of work. He would be great in a John Barrowman musical role though. Olly is so one dimensional, and poor old Stacey hasn't a clue. Forget all the rubbish about confidence, cockiness, or whatever, Danyl remains their best bet. (If they are serious about producing someone this year)

Danyl is my favourite Crossy but i'm not convinced he will win, if i'm being honest I think it will probably benefit him and he will get something out of the show. Public like to play safe so Joe's the best bet.

I've just seen the Friday rerun of XF and Jedward's performance for the first time. 

I'm really warming to them now!  I love watching them dance ... or perhaps bounce would be a better description.

Danyl. Lloyd might benefit from the rebound vote though which could see John and Edward back in as they won't be saved again if in bottom 2. I just want them to last longer than Lloyd.

I don't know much about it I suppose, I don't read anything about 'em. We watch both progs each week and he just seems to be in a class of his own.

Crossy I don't mean to be rude, but a class of obnoxiousness. It takes more than talent to make it.

Danyl has got the talent and the voice, he's really confident and believes in himself which are qualities he needed since he is a dance/drama teacher so they comes across in his performances but some perceive it to be cockiness/arrogance. You can't impress everyone but he has let the criticism get to him which I don't blame him with some of the stuff thats been printed or said, most of the papers talk rubbish and he along with John and Edward due to the editing or whatever have been chosen to be this years panto villains by the producers because of their marmite effect so they get people talking whether good or bad.


Anyway i've seen a bit of videos and he seems nice enough to me.

There is no Irish vote, they are just popular and the rest of the country has adopted them.

In the betting it's still Olly, Stacey then Joe, Danyl, J&E and Lloyd.

I didn't see that where did you write that. Sorry if I missed it. I thought you said that it would be Danyl they should concentrate because he was the 'only one with talent,  hence my reply.

 I think that with a lot of struggle and coaching that they could make him into a reasonable one album act like Alexandra Burke for example. But as other people pointed out it may be just about making money from calls and tittle-tattle this year.
