The thing is, some people don't find them fun OR entertaining, myself included. I haven't liked them since their first audition when they were rude, and I don't like them now. You can dress them in silly outfits and hide them behind as many dancers and loud background music as you can, but it won't to me, hide the fact that they can't sing. I'm not having a go at those who do like them, just giving my opinion.

It's not a show I take seriously at all,I've not liked any of the past winners,including the shouty diva type singers Leona etc.Sting was entirely correct when he called it a karaoke show.I wouldn't down load any of the songs for free never mind buy them.I only watch it to slag them off,oh and my niece likes it,otherwise I would watch summat else.

I hadn't realised Mr. Mercury was such a great act until I heard the hapless contestants having a go. Shakira also fell victim to the curse of X Factor just like the previous special acts.

I couldn't understand one word of Shakira's song and I don't give two hoots...she's mesmerising!

I whizzed through Shakira's performance at x30 on my SKY box - don't like her.
I always SKY+ the X factor now, so I can skip all the boring bits and the ads - which leaves me with about 15 mins remaining on the results show!!

*whispers* He wasn't.  It's just that the performances on Saturday night were SO dire that they almost made Queen seem OK. 

We've got Susan Boyle to look forward to this week.

And the awful Mariah Carey

I don't mind Mariah but i'm sick and tired now of the diva shouting types so for that reason I hope the last girl doesn't win.



John and Edward have gone from 12/1 to 8/1 to win the show.

I have always found her to be vastly overrated and i dont like any of her songs,

She can at least sing better than Chavryl Cole.



They should get Diversity in as dancers.

I was implying that  Mariah Carey? Best Christmas  song.

They haven't let Danyl dance yet and he is a dance/drama teacher. John and Edward's dancing is ok, they make full use of the stage and just don't stand on the spot with the microphone.

Simon does need to give Danyl something different because all has has done is songs with long shouty bits in


It doesnt bother me really if someone sings on the spot or walks a little because if i wanted to watch dancing then i would watch Strictly Come Dancing

Hopefully Brian will give Danyl some choreography to work with, good that someone on the Xtra Factor mentioned that.

I heard a very interesting discussion on the radio last night about the fact that some are saying Louis just wants to get Simon's acts out.

An 'insider' reckoned it has more to do with keeping Cherly sweet and keeping her acts in.  Interesting.

Nothing surprises me where Chavryl is concerned. I like Louis but Simon does take the piss out of him but he made the worst decision ever sending Maria Lawson home over the awful Conway Sisters, however I agreed about Austin Drage from last year.

Shame Jamie went...I like him he was one of my faves.....IMO the fiX Factor has become a joke.

I also can't wait to see MC...like her a lot.

Something For The Weekend was quite catchy, although I did really really like Acceptable In The 80's.

Sting started out as a young person too....he had to rely on a music promoter/manager too and I find it disengeneous (sic) of him to lambast the young folk on XFactor trying to break into the music scence. If you have nothing good to say, then shut it (IMO)
