Louis disqualifies X Factor band
The X Factor girlband Trucolorz have been kicked off the show after it was revealed that one of them had lied about her age.On Saturday Rachel, Christina and Ivette were put through to the final 24 but Louis Walsh was forced to tell the girls they were disqualified when it was discovered that one member was under 16.
A source told The Mirror: "Theyâre devastated. Louis has the agonising task of telling the girls they can't continue this year but he softens the blow by suggesting they can try again next year when they are old enough."
Viewers can watch the band being told to leave on this Saturday's show.
X Factor beats Strictly in ratings battle
The X Factor won the Saturday night ratings war for the second week running, according to latest figures.Strictly Come Dancing was second again after scheduling saw it clash with the ITV talent show for more than an hour.
The dance show closed the gap slightly with the difference in peak audiences falling from two million last week to 1.4 million last night.
The X Factor's audience peaked at 10.1 million, 40% of Saturday night television viewers, compared to 8.7 million (38 per cent) for Strictly which saw former jockey Richard Dunwoody get the boot.
Strictly's peak audience was at 7.55pm, just before The X Factor started at 8pm.
Last night's average audience for The X Factor, which is still in the preliminary stages of choosing finalists, was 8.9 million, 36% of those watching TV between 8pm and 9.15pm.
Strictly was left trailing one million viewers behind with an average of 7.9 million (33 per cent).
An ITV spokesman said: "The X Factor performed particularly well with the younger audience, attracting 49 per cent of the 16 to 34 demographic over the whole show, compared to 23% watching Strictly Come Dancing."
Although Strictly was the viewers' second choice for the second Saturday running, its average audience rose by 200,000 on last week's 7.7 million and its peak remained steady at 8.7 million.
The peak audience for X Factor was 600,000 down on last week's 10.7 million and its average audience dropped 400,000 from 9.3 million last Saturday.
X Factor's Cheryl Cole Fronts Beauty Campaign
She is fronting Elvive's Full Restore 5 range, a one-stop shop for the nation's top hair problems, which has been developed following a survey of thousands of women.
The X Factor judge wears a red dress to complement her loosely curled, almost waist-length tresses.
The range is the first that L'Oreal Paris has formulated a product to target what it has found to be the top hair problems of UK women - weak, limp, lifeless, dull and straw-like hair.
It includes a shampoo, conditioner, conditioning spray and a replenishing masque and night serum.

Cheryl Cole has admitted that she wants to create her own brand of perfume.
The Girls Aloud star, who was recently confirmed as the new face of L'Oreal UK, said that she would be keen to work on her own line of beauty products.
"I would love to have my own beauty products," she told Hello. "I think the most special thing you could have is your own custom-made personal perfume. It must be amazing to have your own unique smell."
Cole also spoke about her impending L'Oreal deal, saying that she felt very honoured to have been asked to represent the cosmetics company.
"I was so flattered when they asked me - I thought, 'They can't be serious!' Then I found out it was for a new hair range and I thought it was perfect, because I'm the type of girl who if I am having a bad hair day then I am having a bad day full stop.
"So anything that solves my hair problems is brilliant."
X Factor: Sian says John & Edward Grimes apologised

Former X Factor auditionee Sian Paley has admitted that annoying twins John & Edward apologised for singing over her during their bootcamp performance.
During an interview on Live From Studio Five, Sian said: â[They didn't apologise] for a while but they did eventually. Iâm quite glad they did because at first they tried to say they didnât even do it. So by apologising they did accept it and they had a bit of a cry later. I said, âDonât worry, itâs fineâ.â
Paley also said that half of the stolen bits werenât shown on the final show.
She said: âThey donât show the whole thing because obviously they cut it down for television purposes. There were a couple of choruses as well. Because I didnât actually have much of a verse to sing, I was supposed to sing two of the choruses.â
It's a fix, false, No-one has hair like that (except maybe wookies)

Alexandra Burke may have won the X Factor, but it was runners up JLS that really triumphed at the Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards in Glasgow last night.
JLS were stunned when they picked up two awards - beating their reality show rival to the Best Newcomer trophy.
The band - comprising of Jonathan 'JB' Gill, Marvin Humes, Oritse Williams and Aston Merrygold - also won Best Single for their No.1 hit Beat Again.
Winners at last: JLS (L-R: Jonathan 'JB' Gill, Marvin Humes, Oritse Williams and Aston Merrygold) took home two gongs at the Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards in Glasgow last night
Empty handed: X Factor winner Alexandra Burke lost out to the boyband in the Best Newcomer category
Accepting one of their awards, Marvin said: 'The band's success would have been inconceivable just a year ago. I just want to say thank you to all our supporters who are here tonight.
'I never thought we would be here. I never thought we'd get nominated, and I never thought we would win two awards.'
More emotion came when Jermaine Jackson and his sister La Toya led tributes to their late brother Michael Jackson.
The King of Pop was posthumously honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award, which was accepted on his behalf by Jermaine.
Holding her brother's hand on stage at the city's SECC venue, La Toya admitted she was 'not at all' coming to terms with the shocking death of her younger brother on June 25.

Remembrance: Jermaine sings Charlie Chaplin song Smile in memory of his brother
La Toya, 53, spoke of the family's loss before introducing Jermaine, 54, who went on to perform the Charlie Chaplin song Smile, believed to be Michael's favourite song.
Jermaine said: 'My brother was everything to me. He was a wonderful artist and a wonderful human being.
'I'm here to do what I can, it is part of our responsibility as a family to continue his legacy and keep it alive.'
Britain's Got Talent contestant Shaheen Jafargholi, who performed at Michael's memorial in July, also took to the stage to sing Jackson 5 hit I'll Be There.
BGT winners, dance troupe Diversity - who were due to join the Thriller star during his UK gigs - also performed in memory of Jackson.
Good times: London trio N-Dubz (L-R Richard 'Fazer' Rawson, Tula 'Tulisa' Contostavlos and Dino 'Dappy' Contostavlos) won Best UK Act and Best Album and Pussycat Dolls star Kimberly Whyte also attended the night
Curly girlies: Kelly Rowland (left) went for biker chic in leathers and Christian Louboutin leopard-print boots, while La Toya arrived in a floor-length black gown
JLS were one of several acts to perform last night, including N-Dubz, Tinchy Stryder, Kelly Rowland and David Guetta, Taio Cruz and American singer Keri Hilson - who also co-hosted the awards with Radio 1 DJ Reggie Yates.
JLS and Alexandra were nominated in Best Newcomer category alongside new Sugababe Jade Ewen, who has received abuse from Keisha Buchanan fans after she was announced as the original band-member's replacement last month.
Along with JLS, the other big winners at the annual ceremony were London trio N-Dubz, who were named Best UK Act and Best Album for their debut Uncle B.
While she may have lost out to JLS in the Best Newcomer category, Alexandra was clearly one of the fashion leaders on the night.

Mini dresses and lots of bare legs appeared to be the dominant look on the red carpet, with Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt standing out from the crowd in an ivory floor-length gown.
Host Keri went for the current trend of a structured hip-accentuating red bandeau dress, while Beverly Knight looked sleek in an asymmetrical black wet look dress.
Ever the individual, soul singer VV Brown wore a bottom-skimming patterned T-shirt dress which just about covered her modesty and an unusual bowl-topped haircut.
Leggy lovelies: American singer and awards host Keri Hilson (left) looked red hot in a structured dress, VV Brown (centre) brought her own unique style in a tiny patterned T-shirt dress while Beverly Knight looked sleek in a black asymmetrical mini
Disappointingly for fans, superstar Beyonce Knowles failed to show after winning Best Video for Single Ladies (Put A Ring Of It) - the same promo Kanye West infamously declared should have won Best Female Video at the MTV Music Video Awards last month instead of Taylor Swift's You Belong To Be.
Her former Destiny's Child bandmate Kelly Rowland did attend and performed dance anthem When Love Takes Over with DJ David Guetta.
Winners: Jermaine carries the MOBO Lifetime Achievement for his brother Michael, Nneka (centre) holds her Best African Act and Chipmunk celebrates his Best Hip Hop win
Ready to party: Peter Andre and boxer Amir Khan attended the star-studded bash
Talented Treyc shows she has the X Factor
Stonydelph's Treyc Cohen beat thousands of other hopefuls to get to the judges' homes, where the contestants will then be whittled down to just 12 for the live shows.
"It took me days to go and apply, I never thought I'd be able to do it," explained Treyc, who turns 25 this month, putting her in the 'over 25s' category and under the tutelage of the show's notoriously critical judge, Simon Cowell.
"I never expected to get this far.
"Getting to the judges was my goal. But I just hoped I'd get the chance to audition. So to actually perform in front of the judges was a real bonus." <script type="text/javascript" /> <script src="http://ad.uk.doubleclick.net/adj/thisissutt/thisissutt_suttentertainment_entertainment;area=entertainment;subarea=entertainment;target=;article=1384387;tile=2;sz=452x118;ord=708105991171805.7?" type="text/javascript" />
Stonydelph resident Treyc says she has always dreamed of becoming a performer. She is a member of the nine-piece folk/soul/rock band Monday Session, and is currently studying for a BA (Hons) in Popular Music at Wolverhampton University as well as performing solo gigs around the region.
"I've always wanted to sing," she said. "Ever since I was five years old.
"But as you get older and you don't get there you start to think you're not as good as you thought."
But after wowing the judges with her rendition of Chaka Kahn's I'm Every Woman, Treyc's confidence was given a huge boost.
"A lot of the judges' comments weren't screened," Treyc explained,
"Simon said, 'you've just saved Birmingham'.
"Cheryl said, 'that's the best version of that I've ever heard, I've never heard anybody sing that song and hit all those notes like you just did'.
"And Danni started to cry.
"Getting those comments from people in the industry, who know how it works and know good talent when they hear it, was amazing."
Looking back at her performance, the former Lakeside Primary and Belgrave High School pupil was surprised at how confident she came across on screen.
"I was so nervous. I've sung in front of crowds before but not like that. I just came off stage and cried."
Now viewers can expect to see Treyc's X Factor journey continue this weekend as the final 24 visit the judges' homes.
Treyc, and the other over 25s, headed out to LA with Simon.
And although Treyc's lips remain sealed about what went on in LA and who made the final cut, she's given us a brief insight into what life was like with living with Simon.
"Simon was really supportive and always had good things to say," she told the Herald.
Naturally, Treyc's family, friends and staff at Wolverhampton University are all behind her.
"We are so proud of her," Treyc's sister Thelma Reid said.
Her tutor Steve Cooper added: "The fact that Treyc has reached this stage of the competition did not come as a shock to anyone in the music department as she is a superb singer and performer.
"I would say she stands a good chance of progressing further.
"We are all delighted with what she has achieved so far and will be watching to see how she does on Saturday."
Tune into X Factor on ITV 1 this weekend to see if Treyc makes it through the final 12 and progresses to the live shows.
