According to many newspapers, Simon is leaving next year to take the show to the USA and his place is being given to Piers Morgan!!!!!

I didn't know that. Still, I expect it's still his company and he will still be making the bucks. Without him, it might be better quality though.

It's rubbish. Simon had to fork out lots of his own cash to Simon Fuller because he copied the format of Pop Idol for the X-Factor so he wouldn't desert his own creation.

I'm watching JLS revealed on ITV2. They're really nice guys who deserve their success they've done the hard work, coming second has done them more favours than winning.

I'm glad JLS are having success because yes they work hard at being the best they can be. I think it's sad that some think to be a success you have to either be on X Factor or to win it. There are many routes to success in the music business as has been the case long before X Factor came along.

isn't american idol the same show as xfactor over there?

All the judges on X Factor think they know more about the music scene than anyone else does, yet some of their comments about certain contestants every year are laughable and this year's no exception and proves they often have no clue, and some of their negative remarks are because they're worried about the opposition because of their vested interest.

I'm probably not as good with words, and I agree with you.  I think they are point scoring off each other and don't care much about the contestants feelings.

I watch X Factor and SCD, one thing I prefer about SCD is that the judges have no financial interest in who wins or not unlike X Factor, so I take some comments from the judges with a pinch of salt and rely on my own feelings about the potential of the contestants

Jamie sounded the best last night!

agree figgy, he seems to be the only one that can bring feeling to a song, that song he did in week two, the slow ,mournful one was  really really good.

Still Danyls to throw away. he operates on a level far above the others.

i enjoyed last nights show i think it will be Lloyd and Danyl in the bottom two with Lloyd going.

i dunno about danyl, he  comes across as a bit formulaic  to me.good voice etc. but leaves me cold.

Hi Jacks I know what you mean with Danyl . He is a great singer but i cant warm to him.I dont want him to leave tho as like i said he is an amazing singer. Lloyd , the twins and Jamie should all leave before him

Hmm Jamie is an ok singer but nothing special imo. Lucie imo is the amazing , such an amazing voice. Joe aswell they have been the most consistent imo

 I love that song. Giving it to Lucie would have killed it. She's no Hayley Williams.

Lucie just hasn't got the voice to sing rock, no matter what the judges believe. But then you could fit what the judges know about rock on the back of a first class stamp.

John and Edward are entertaining but they do need to go soon! its getting ridiculous!

Chavryl is fake, her fake praise of Danyl and Jedward doesn't convince me nor does Simon, both are up each others arses and all they care about is to be the winning judge...

Did anyone else notice last nite that Simon disagreed with whatever Danni said? It got on my nerves because he was clearly doing it to irritate her! its become the cheryl and simon show now , which is a shame!
