Joe needs to show more personality, strong voice. He always seems more lively in the videos for the show website than on stage.
I do think he's one of the best singers in there, but as Brisket will no doubt be coming on to say at one point... the vibrato is so annoying.

The fact they get so much publicity but most of all it is about ratings because some people who haven't watched before or don't like the show are simply tuning in to see their performance because they've heard about them and if they were on near the start they would tune over to SCD etc.
