The Voice will reportedly move its live shows to Friday nights to avoid a clash with Britain's Got Talent.
According to The Sun, the first quarter-final of the current UK series will be brought forward to Friday, June 7. The final of ITV's Britain's Got Talentis due to air on June 8 and would have resulted in an overlap.
 
Last Saturday, the BBC One singing competition attracted an average of 7.4 million viewers, peaking at 8.2 million. Simon Cowell's talent show, however, pulled in 10.5 million, with 11.9 million people watching at its highest point.

An insider at The Voice told the newspaper: "The decision is in the best interest of viewers. Given the length of the quarter-final it would be impossible to avoid a clash."
