The Voice  UK will return to BBC One later this month, and Digital Spy  readers are more excited about the show's second series than Simon Cowell's  latest run of Britain's Got Talent.
The first promo pic for the  singing talent show's new run, featuring coaches Jessie J, will.i.am, Danny  O'Donoghue and Sir Tom Jones posing with a microphone, has been released today  (March 11).

In a  poll of Digital Spy's reality TV fanatics, over 50% said that  they were more excited about The Voice coming back than its ITV ratings  rival. 40% backed the Cowell franchise and 10% said that they'd rather spend  their evenings with a copy of The Guardian and BBC Four on the  box.
The Voice UK's first run was the biggest entertainment  launch on the BBC in a decade, with a consolidated series average of 9.2 million  (38.5% share) viewers.
Tweaks have been made to the format after  criticism that the show dropped off after the blind auditions, increasing the  number of shows with the famous 'spinning chairs',
The show has also  introduced a new 'steal' rule, which allows the coaches to pinch acts off each  other, and a 'Killer Song' round before the live shows.

Leaked  reports have revealed that former popstars  Kavana, Danny from Hear'say and Cleo Higgins from Cleopatra are among the  hopefuls who tried out at the blind auditions.
Earlier this week, The  Voice series one winner Leanne  Mitchell released a preview of her new single 'If I Knew Then'.

I may dip in and out of it, but I'm not going to make any commitment to watch every episode.

Edit: Erin, is the video above of the winner (I can't remember who won)?
