I’ve got MrY to agree to a big planter with trellis attached so I can put in a nice climber or two - that’s as near as I’ll get to a pergola

I've got the planter...well big pot ,with a home made stick triangle stuck in it where a clematis is supposed to climb....but the darn thing won't grow properly😂

I’ve got one right across back of the house ....with a vine , rambling rise and another plant whose name escapes me But it really needs some work now , cos Mr B built it when we first moved here 30 years ago
