I am giving it a miss.

was this any good?

I saw the post by Erin above as the programme was a small way in. In some ways I wish I had read it after the programme as I did tend to judge each piece with that in mind.

Overall I did not get the impression that is what they were doing, although I think you could have interpreted the odd segment one way or the other.

I quite liked how they were talking to the TV and amongst themselves, not always agreeing. I'm sure we all do what the people in the programme do, get over excited, angry, confused and emotional at what we see on the box.

I'm not sure this show has much of a shelf life (I seem to recall this type of thing has been done before - someone please put me out of my misery!). I will watch more episodes because it did now and again make me laugh and I like the mix of people, posh, poor, families, gay couple, all male group and all female group.

I know ..........I felt really sorry for that guy with mental health problems though (Roger?). Awwwwww - it was like his probation officer was the only one person who'd ever shown him kindness. He was just sooo lonely.

Baz... I've not seen any of it and my TIVO box didn't record the last one!    Is it worth my while trying to watch all the four parts quickly so I can catch the last bit while it's still on catch up?

this one looks interesting tonight

Piers welcomes 1984 Winter Olympics ice skating heroes Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean. The pair talk candidly and admit - for the first time ever - that their relationship was more than professional at one point in their figure-skating career. The gold medallists and stars of Dancing on Ice also open up about the challenges they have faced in their lives, including Chris's separation from his mother at a young age, as well as Jayne's decision to adopt two children.

Dreadful night on the box. Mrs Jer wants to catch up one of those human interest things from earlier in the week. Just sorting out a crossword and some fatty bokoes. Double Corrie and human interest murder mystery thriller David Tennant (or is it the other one) shieght. Spare us! I certainly willn't be watching the chatty man either.

I've enjoyed all of Piers's interviews apart from the Dennis Waterman one, just couldn't take to him.

I sometimes watch his US show on CNN and I admire his take on their stupid gun laws, even the other day he was discussing the Sandy tragedy - while other US news media seemed to have stopped discussing it -  and his fury is always intense and heated with those who uphold the 2nd Amendment which allows the crazies to own guns.
