"Starter for 10" is an "OK" movie (I think its 4 stars in the Radio Times is slightly OTT), but it's got an incredible "look where they are now" cast:

Benedict Cumberbatch, Alice Eve (both in the new Star Trek), James McAvoy and Rebecca Hall - plus Catherine Tate, James Corden and an impressive turn from Mark Gatiss as Bamber Gascoigne...

I see there is going to be a 4th series of Game of Thrones for those of you are "into" it 

I didn't realise a lot of it is filmed in Northern Ireland either 

I did laugh at Eileen and Deirdree on Corrie last night. A lovely bit of silliness/lighthearted comedy and very well written/ acted IMO. Unlike Gails failed attempt a couple of weeks ago.

That was a great scene, Soozy!   I loved when Eileen was asking all about Deirdre's belts and she said 'I'll send you the links'   Great look on her face when she looked her up and down and said 'Nah.. you're alright'  

it was funny, I like drunk Deirdre  Dev on the other hand 

I laughed when Deirdree said she'd got a cardigan like Anthea Turners ......I've got a couple of tops like Deirdree (no belts though)

 I wonder if they will pair her up more with Eileen now that Ken is occupied elsewhere 

I hope so. Wonder how they're gonna explain Kens absence.

I was wondering the same, didn't they say that they were cutting out scenes with Kevin in, maybe they have done the same with Ken

I couldn't believe who they had paid extra to stay after losing Tina. Michelle, Dev, Kirk and Sean  Sean is another character I wouldn't miss, after seeing him in the jungle I dislike him even more and he now has a cookery slot on This Morning 

jeeze - did they really, Aims?  I quite like Kirk, but I wouldn't miss any of the other three - I can't abide Michelle and Sean (yep , and- couldn't stand him in the jungle either) and Dev is just laughable.

sean is hardly in it these days so why up his salary  I don't he'd get much work anywhere else  same as Michelle Keegan, Corrie made her famous and then she's off cause she thinks she can make it anywhere now, they all come back in the end 

I'm rather fond of Sean I forgive him his jungle foibles Not an easy environment.

Don't forget to record 'The Returned' tomorrow night at 9.00pm on C4. It sounds like its something a lot of us might enjoy and I'd like to know what some of you think. The  premise seems to be a supernatural crime thriller drama. Its in French but has English subtitles and has already been commissioned to be remade in the US . 

I've got it set to record, but I'm not sure if I'll watch it.   The trailer has already spooked me!    I can cope with murders and RL horrible things, but when figures (especially dead ones) appear outside windows and behind people... it freaks me out!

I watched that last night and it was fab. My parents were at that Soul to Soul festival, and my dad says there's a different/better film version of it. As my mum was press she got behind the scenes access to a lot of it and there's loads of pics at home of my mum and my brothers as babies with the artists, a really fab one especially of Roberta Flack going googoo over one of them. My dad got to jam (and get stoned ) with Willie Bobo too.

Watched the first two parts of The Americans today.  Safe to say I'm hooked.  I was actually hooked in the first five minutes - Fleetwood Mac's 'Tusk' is a great backing track for a chase scene.     

Now I only need to get past thinking Philip and Elizabeth look like JD from Scrubs and Ros from Frasier
