The woman that talks about soaps on this morning said that Sally joins a dating agency but could the one already be on the street, I can only think of the doctor whose single but I can't see it being him, maybe its paul the firemans friend
I've got that set to record - looks quite good.

I'm watching recorded 'Frankie' atm - give me a thumbs up if it's Xochi!
Am watching the Les Dawson thing, can't really get excited about the hologram stuff, just looks like video to me.
He is funny though
Meant to post a heads-up about this myself, but forgot...
I don't know about "astounding": the reviews in the States seem to have been generally pretty good, but there were a few who thought it would have been better done as a mini-series. (Series 1's US run finished at the beginning of May, and a second series has been commissioned.)
Personally, I thought it looked really promising. Like "The Sopranos", it's one of those series that makes you sympathise with "the bad guy", which is always interesting, and the opportunity to re-examine the Reagan years (the series is set in 1981) has potential too.
I've just watched the last episode of Case Histories and i want to throw things at my telly.

First episode is definitely very for the large part but I think it will build into something interesting Kaffs. Many echoes of Homeland which can't be bad!

I was feeling petulant because I didn't get the ending I'd have wanted. On the plus side - it leaves it open for another series
This week is a new series where Davina helps people find family members they've been searching for for a long time. I've seen previous series and enjoyed it, it gets emotional at times. Can't remember what day or channel right now

Ah, right!
I agree that it left things open for another series, but somehow I can't see Jackson Brodie every really having his own happy endings - after all, he's a Country music fan!
you're right Eugene - it would be like Moonlighting.. never the same if they lived happily ever after.
I just caught this trailer on C4 - not sure if it'll be too scary for me, being such a wimp. Looks like it might be interesting. Billed as a 'supernatural crime thriller' It's in French with subtitles. Sunday at 9 p.m.
In a small mountain community, two local people - teenager Camille, and Simon - who both died years earlier, suddenly re-appear at their homes. They have not aged, and they are completely unaware of their own deaths.
Camille and Simon assume they can rejoin the world of the living as though nothing has happened, but their return throws their friends and family into a state of turmoil.
Camille's sister LÃĐna has continued to grow up without her sibling beside her, and Simon's wife AdÃĻle is just about to get remarried, to Thomas. Meanwhile, lonely nurse Julie receives a visit from a very strange little boy.
Seven years ago, the town was struck by a series of bloody murders. Now it seems the killings have started up again. In French with English subtitles.

Beat me to both of these...
I enjoyed "The Time Traveller's Guide" too: second part on Friday, and am particularly looking forward to next week's episode which is about Shakespeare and the middle classes.
"The Returned" has already been covered on the BBC "Review" show: it's had really good reviews in France and looks interesting. On the face of it, it sounds like "In the Flesh", but appears to be more classic horror than allegory.
..and I beat you both to 'The Returned' ^^^ I just sort of forgot to say what it was called

I love those clocks as I like sparkly things I like that show as I get to see what those I see on tv are like in their partnerships.
I watched Love and Marriage as Alison Stedman is in it - have seen her in lots of things but have always remembered her in Abigail's party years ago, brilliant.
I had a problem staying with it tonight for most of it and several times thought about trying to find something else, but, I stayed with it and towards the end it picked up. I'll probably watch next week now.

I recorded it because the trailers looked good. Should I not bother watching it?
