At the start of series 4 Victoria Coren (as was) announced in her own inimitable way that because viewers had complained that this was pretentious they would use ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs - two reeds, lion, twisted flax, horned viper, water, and Eye of Horus

I just watched tonight's     Izzy cannot cry prettily.     Stella is getting on my nerves even more than I believed possible - and roll on the day Karl leaves.

In the last 2 episodes there's a man seen briefly called Brian (I think) a fireman friend of Eileen's bf. Not sure how it will pan out but he could be the key to Dev finding out the truth, they wouldn't put him in the show without good reason. I didn't think the fire dept's investigation was as thorough as hopefully would be in real life.
