thoroughly enjoyed tonights final episode - could easily have been a two hour one - I just didnt want it to end - was nice to see Mandy smiling again 

What a great ending .............really enjoyed this series.

it was a lovely ending, but can we go back in a years time to see if her hubby is still sat at the airport?  (glad the daughter was there for her)

M'SIL is in Kefalonia at the moment so I have been having to record and burn various stuff. Broadchurch calling Danny Boy, the syndicate, and the excellent Scott and Bailey. However tonight, and as a surprise, I will record Peter Hain's take on South Africa, or the fourth Reich as we call it at Chez Joe. It was one thing taking part in anti South African protests way back when, but then I discovered half of Mrs Jer's family lived there. I've had a bee in my bonnet ever since, I thought that the Mandela business was a load, and now we see that they've all been lining their pockets. Meet the new boss indeed. Ruth First and Steve Biko must be spinning. I still boycott South African produce after all these years.
