Just to remind those who have been enjoying this series that the new (and final) series starts tonight on BBC2 at 9.45

For me, the one episode which stands out from all the others was the last episode of series 2. Destiny and Fortune was directed by Jon Amiel and dealt with the last days of Anne Boleyn. There was a quality about it which lifted it from a good series to a new height.

I think I have to stop watching this now - the facts are getting in the way of artistic buggeration.

The Other Boleyn Girl had me tutting .... I've been making sucky noises with my teeth for the last hour.
