Wish one of them would say it back to her.

Nod Be interesting to hear her reply to that one.

The trouble with Lisa is: She thinks she is the wise owl/ matriarch and that she can direct people what to do and force her will on them. When it doesn't work, she resorts to aggression and intimidation. Bit like an abusive parent/partner really.... the 'children' who sit by and don't get involved are scared 'cos they know if they said something then they'd get it too, so they don't intervene.

It would start with that popular BB phrase "At the end of the day...."

You are SO right super. I`m a gentle person but if I was in there I would wrap her face. I would LOVE a stand up argument with her. She wouldn`t win, believe me! She`d be scuttling of to the DR asking to go home!! Sausage

Absolutely agree. She thinks she is the all knowing oracle and people 15 or 20 years younger than her know f--k all.

Considering she is 41 though, I find her very childish and irritating in some ways. I thought she was OK at first, but after that attack on Freddie yesterday, I have gone right off her; stupid annoying sanctimnonious cow. Shake Head

Lisa is a funny mix. She is quite intelligent in a streetwise kinda way but she also shows signs of pent-up aggression and frustration. She has probably never been taken seriously as a person and so she displays signs of attention seeking. The row she had with Freddie on Friday was a good example of how she deals with people she doesn't like. But it was also a way of Lisa setting out her stall for the future. She wanted the others to see how 'tuff' she is and 'dinna mess wif me'. It was a signal for the others to beware. Obviously, Marcus was not intimidated as evidenced by the row last night. So it hasn't worked on them all and that will frustrate her.

Her apology to Freddie was worthless. She made the apology to him only. She should have done it in front of the others for it to be of any value. Her intention was to frighten the others with the outburst and it probably worked on some of them, but not including Marcus.

Good post Clapping Personally I would have just told her to f--k off. Then again, I wouldn;t be scared of the stupid mare, as I am not a generation younger than her. She would NOT have spoken that way to someone of her age IMO. Poor Freddy looked so hurt and bewildered. I had mixed views about him before, but now I just want to hug him. I like him now. Smiler Gone off Lisa though! Shake Head I think a lot of people went off her that night. Frowner

I would definitely say she has issues Laugh
Yes, people can give advice as at 45 plus, as people that age are more knowledgable than 20-somethings in some ways, as they have often been married, had kids, travelled a lot, worked for almost 30 years, sufered bereavements and sometimes depressions and depression/breakdowns and redundancies etc etc... but younger folk are still intelligent and full of worth and can offer things that older folk can't. 'This 'you know f--k-all because you're only 21' attitude is really annoying and it usually comes from folk who really AREN'T that bright. Roll Eyes

The only thing I will say in her defence is that she's probably 'learned' this behaviour as a child from her own parenting... and she seriously needs to 'unlearn' it. She thinks she's older and wiser, whereas in fact she is completely devoid of any emotional intelligence..The most pathetic thing about the whole 'do' was when Marcus was speaking to her and she was making those ridiculous gestures with her hands and going 'blah, blah'- tantamount to a child sticking their fingers in their ears when being told off- sad really

Didn't see 8 out 10. But don't get why she brags about "turning" other women. Seems like she is a sexual equivalent of a bible basher.

I agree Super. Thing is, as I said earlier, I bet she wouldn't speak to someone of her own age like this, and especially not Marcus Roll Eyes She is like Rex from last year - he was the same. People like Rex and Lisa just bully the people that they know they can, and they intimidate when they know they can get away with it.

Rex never bullied Lisa from last year (Mario's girlffriend,) because he knew she would have leathered him. People only bully and intimidate the ones they know won't/can't fight back; and in Big Brother, it's usually someone much younger than them.

I'd certainly not be one to be intimidated or bullied. I'd definitely 'take her on' but without raising my voice or loosing my rag, just pointing out the error of her ways. I'm a master at that!

She does have a tendency to assume that the older a person is the wiser they are. Not true. She is using fear tactics on the weaker personalities. Freddie is not weak imo, he is just showing a bit more breeding in the way he dealt with her, saying 'duly noted' but it wasn't enough for her, she had to force him to say it out loud, her way, so the others could hear.
