Went for the first time in ages yesterday to the REP off Broad Street in Brum with my mom, dad and bro to watch an East Is East production, it was absolutely brilliant and the actors were so spot on had us in stitches really funny. Was well worth it considering we booked it online

I'm going twice in November darlo - to see Les Miserables and My Fair Lady
Love the theatre, me
The last thing I saw was Waiting for Godot starring Sir Ian Mckellen and Patrick Stewart. Great!
The Symphony Hall is nearby, I had a look at the posters yesterday inside and they have got some very good shows on.

*am jealous*
I haven't been for a couple of years, but I saw Ian McKellen in King Lear at Stratford. It was bluddy brilliant.
Also, Henry IV parts 1&2 at the National. Matthew McFadyen and Michael Gambon were among the cast, and it was outstanding.
I also really love going to the Globe, and being amongst the groundlings!

They're doing some very good offers for people between 14-26 to get them down to watch the shows so we've kept the offer that came with our tickets for that. Used to love going to watch the Pantomimes.
I can't bear pantomimes now darlo - but it is an age thing ... used to love them when I was younger
I remember seeing Dick Emery in panto once - pure class

I've only ever been to two pantos. The first was Cinderella, with Barbara Windsor as the Fairy Godmother in Stevenage, yonks ago. Nigel Pivaro, who used to play Terry Duckworth in Corrie, was in it too. I had to go, for work - honest!
The last was two Boxing Days back, in Cardiff. It was John Barrowman in Jack and the Beanstalk and I went with my brother. He'd only got the tickets because his then-girlfriend wanted to go - but they split up before Christmas!

I want to go to the theatre on Boxing Day this year, but my only two choices locally are Jack and the Beanstalk and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
I might stay in and watch The Great Escape again

The pantos that I seen were all at primary school we used to get sweets thrown at us from the stage, made us hyper then we would get crisps and drinks from the place where we went, wish we could have went to see one at secondary school but all the naughty kids got the trips and then lots of trips got dropped due to cost.
I love live theatre. fabienne..DD..you lucky lucky things.

I rarely go, Scotty, but Godot is one of my favourite plays of all time, so when I heard that Mckellen and Stuart were starring in it, I had to go up to London to see them. It's such an amazing play, and those guys are the dream team.
Me as Mopsy in Peter Rabbit at the Octagon Theatre in Bolton, it was almost 30 years ago though....
I'm in the lovely red jumper in the middle...
BTW, they weren't my normal clothes, think the School dug the outfits out of the lost property bucket!!!
Brilliant

They must've been popular then!
I used to get the season ticket for Leeds Playhouse, loved going. In this part of Cumbria there is nothing like that around here. Miss it when I think about it.

I saw Equus in London when it was on.
And years ago I went to a performance of The Rocky Horror Show in Croydon.
I don't know why I don't go to the theatre more, really. I always enjoy it.
