if you look in the top gear thread (under cult tv) on here you'll see that perry was black stig and ben collins id white stig, there have been a couple of other stand ins but only short term.

when stig first walked into the studio i thought its not him he is too short! it must be richard hammond dressed up as a joke because of all the speculation about how stig is! then when Michael Schumacher was reviled i thought yep its a joke , the fact is he is just too short to be stig

He looked too skinny as well, the normal Stig looks bigger built usually.

There were the mannerisms as well.

The Stig doesn't move much, and sits in a fairly rigid position. Yet when he was sat down about to reveal himself, he was relaxed, with his legs crossed and was moving about far too much.

and the way he walked was different ! most of the papers are saying it was a stunt in the way they killed off the first stig in black ! one paper has said that the old stig in black is making a reappearance when he walks out of the see covered in sea weed ! but it could just be top gear putting the press off the trail

What a load of old crap that was, I adore TG but last night's show was flat. No way is Michael Schumacher The Stig and Jezza has spent years dissing him and was all over him like a rash last night.
I laughed twice through the challenge, it better get better next week.

Julian Bailey admitted this weekend in a Times supplement that he was one of the Stigs.

I don't belive Schu has been the Stig on any other occasion; more likely he came as part of the package with the Ferrari.

It'll be interesting to see how the dates of the test drives in the past fit in with Schu and his racing commitments.
