Same here Soozy. Wind has died down now but was horrendous today. I stopped at a crossing and nearly got blown into the road twice

I'm less jesting than reminiscing. Some 20 years ago on Easter Sunday, I was in the pub with my husband and friends and it started snowing. He had his guitar handy and started playing that song.

A few years ago we had snow in May and it took SIX WEEKS to disappear completely.
I had a six foot drift in my back garden.

Stupid weather forecast is telling me it's raining and is +2.

Well if that's the case they can come and put my bin out since they must be in a wee tropical bubble!

Jeeez, it's only 289 days now!   Thanks for the heads-up Cupcake; appreciate it. I didnt realise it was that close! 

Left the 'bin putting out' to this morning. Had to knock the cap of snow off it, but at least the lid wasn't frozen closed, as I had more rubbish to put into it.
It's all gone now, bar o few dollops on the grass, but there's more due tonight and tomorrow.
