I like a man to have the quiet confidence of knowing who he is without all the bull.  Sense of humour goes a hell of a long way, as well as the ability to converse beyond grunts.

Yes this is what i think, theres something behind the eyes. I dont think nigella lawson has it, she tries to hard.  I dont think joanna lumley has it, although she wants to. Sophia loren has it, but you could say she also tried hard...but she still had it.. ?

I have always found men who are able to articulate to be much sexier than the occasional grunt.  If they can make me laugh, so much the better!  Sexiness, IMO, is much more a frame of mind than a physical attribute.

Sexiness just oozes from some without them even trying or knowing it..

  

IMO, sexiness has nothing to do with good looks, it comes from within.
Like Suzi, I find eloquent, articulate men to be very sexy.
Youngest son (who was studying psychology at the time) noticed I had a thing for articulate, intelligent men and quipped - pointing at his dad - so why did you marry him?
Luckily, hubby has a great sense of humour, which I also think is sexy.

tis when they have that twinkle in their eye...  and yes, confidence without arrogance, an intelligent and quick wit, coupled with a good heart.

put all those things together and I will find them sexy.

Agree totally with you Yogi.    Beauty comes from within.  I know it sounds a bit cheezy, but it's true.  No good having a partner that is conventionally gorgeous to look at, and they are a horrid git to yoy.

Someone with a bit of class, educated, looks like she can dress herself, sense of humour etc. Step forward Ms. Allsopp.

....and sexy is not simply physical appearance....often nothing to do with appearance at all.
