! Now she just needs to knit the system and you can squeeze the sausage and beans through it!

I was in a very bad place a few years ago - possibly was too vocal about it and said too much to many people.I was also ( at times ) not as kind as I could have been.

Prom helped me through what was hell and now we are happy together

I am sorry if that upsets people, offends people and I am sure that there will be a lot of comments telling me what they think of me. But that is life. We all try to get through it the best way we can.

Well, I think it's wonderful that you have found each other and the happiness you deserve and the same to all forum couples.

The best of luck to you both.....I'm off to buy my hat

There we are MrsB, you're going to get a chance to wear the hat a bit sooner than we thought.

And I too am mistyfied as to why this is causing such a problem for Cologne.

In fact (sorry Cologne) but to me your posts are coming accross as quite hostile.

I may not have been aware of the Issy/Prom relationship as long as some peeps, but I see nothing wrong with it or with the fact that it wasn't blazoned all over the place.

Nothing like a bit of fun and games to get this forum moving.

But do you not see that by frequently going on about it, you could be alienating yourself?

So there!

Well I like all three, so can I have your portions please?      I live on a main road and haven't heard a car going past the house for about 30 minutes, so this looks like a good time to stop work for a bit and go to the supermarket

We live in a village, so it's quite quiet anyway.

BTW, did you know that the only difference between a hamlet and a village is a church?

If it doesn't have a church it is officially classed as a hamlet and will only become a village once it gets a church!

In the last couple of days I've been doing the annual accounts of our local village hall. Yesterday I had a look on the Charity Commission website at the details they show for the village hall. I noticed then that the original deed setting up the village hall in the mid 1920s referred to this area as a hamlet rather than as a village. At that time there was a church made out of prefabricated material. The village at that time was too small to be regarded as a village and the pre-fab church was treated as belonging to another neighbouring parish.

By 1932, there had been a lot of buidling in the area and it was decided that a permanent church was needed. This was built in 1933 and at the same time the new parish was created and so the area ceased to be a hamlet and became a village.

does this make us a super-village?

Super-village - definitely possibly

My grandparents used to live in Marple which id south of Manchester. This was back in the 60s and Marple then was regarded as the largest village in the country. Like your village, there were two churches - the high church for the posh people and the low church for everyone else.

You never asked  Unfortunately you won't get a day off when we get married but you won't be subjected to it either (unless you want to come). Unlike the royal couple we don't believe on forcing ourselves on the rest of the world, attention-seeking twonks the pair of them

Is it bad to feel a bit taken?

You did keep sniping at each other.

Cologne......it's the way that you interpret that sniping though

Sorry sprout, but I really am pissed off about this.

Why? were you after Prom for yourself?!

zazz

I am having to get a plate and a knife and fork and eat my words  The ceremony was amazing. I watched some of the church bits too and loved Jerusalem (I always do). The fly by was also pretty fab. Definitely made me feel proud to be British I don't think there's another country in the world that could have pulled that off.

I'm off now for a large slice of humble pie

I missed the whole thing but  I did want to see it so will hopefully get it on highlights.

I can't help it - I am a sucker for pomp and ceremony

Why Cologne, it's really not hard to read into things at times. They're happy, as are a few other couples on here so let them get on with things is what I say

I'm over it now, just the wine talking.

Prom and Izzy, I hope we'll get at least some pictures.

Has Prom not recorded it all for you?
