Buttocks - only if said students are prepared to take a bashing.

Not watching it but I used to work for the EABF (the charity it's raising money for) many moons ago and they are a really worthy cause who do lots of good with the money raised.
wHEN i WAS A KID .......tHE rOYAL vARIETY WAS THE TV event of the year. We'd settle down in front of the TV with R Whites Cream Soda and some Percy Dalton peanuts ...............BLISS!
We were easily pleased

WOT??? No Jimmy Tarbuck?
I like the RVS - short attention span, so acts are on and off before I get bored. I watched the search for Dorothy too and wanted this girl to win.. so I'm enjoying this.
Soozy - I remember watching as a kid too.. but it always feels like it should be on at the weekend. I can't remember if it was, or if I just feel it's a Sat night type show.
N-Dubz... time to switch off
See now.. N-Dubz illustrates my example of how it's a good show.. they'll be off in a mo.

You're dead right it was - it was a bit special. Actually it was always on November time ..........always somewhere around my birthday.

RVS was a must-see when we were young - it was all the more exciting if your favourite band had been asked to appear on it
It had a lot of prestige in it's day.
Not so sure it does now.

Don't apologise Issy.... Susan Boyle was to that song what Ellie Goulding is to 'Your Song' I want to shake them and tell them to sing it properly and get the phrasing correct.
Fail to believe Cheryl Cole hit those high notes ever never mind live.
Think Charles whispered to Camilla after 'who is she' lol

The Chelsea Pensioners. You can't beat 'em.
When is Cheryl going to learn how to mime properly?

I have just shed a tear - I grew up with those songs.
I turned over for Cherryl because I just don't like her or her music, but I like the concept of TRVS. Back home in Germany, I used to listen to English Radio when I was about 7 to 13. It took me ages to understand any of it, but I always liked the feeling of the comedy.
Anyone enjoying the effeminate bloke on stage wrapped up in all his bed linen?
Ok.. how do they do the skating thing...?

I remember in the olden days the camera was never on the royals - you only saw the Queen arriving and gripping and grinning with the stars afterwards.
This guy is clearly from London...
How the hell is he getting the most laughs of the night
