So will we be seeing Pope Benedict XVI on the next series of?

“: You know the economy's bad when God's making people redundant... â€

BREAKING: eBay announce they are investigating transactions relating to Pope Benedict XVI's Papal account ...

Will the papacy now be foisted upon a younger pope with a stutter and a fear of public speaking

I heard its cos the pope called two Swiss guards 'plebs'.

Most of his working life seemed to involve sitting in a chair and looking out of a window. I wonder how he’s going to spend his retirement?

Edited.. I don't think these are offensive really

Sorry Erin - that's why I wasn't going to post any, but nobody seemed to mind.   I deliberately left out some of the really bad ones.    I'll edit.

I am a catholic too but I find some of the posts very funny.  There are much worse out there which haven't been posted here, these ones are very tame.  I'm sure no-one who posted here meant any offence

Sorry Erinp   many Catholics like myself feel the church has been badly served by some of its clerical members. This Pope had an appalling track record when it came to rooting out the abusive priests that blighted the Church for years. Nor was he on the side of the victims. More abuse would have been prevented if he'd dealt with it in a more humane, Christlike way. I'd say a lot of Catholics are ashamed and disgusted at the Vatican. I'm not criticising the faith, but those who let down the faith.

gotta agree

like everything else in world the faith has turned into a self serving monster-i do not trust anyone in a position of power & from headlines-ive got a bloody good reason to think that way
