Ha! Mum was your age or maybe a little younger when she started with cosyfeet....she suffered from gout in her right big toe area. Certain shoes could only be worn at times
She was always so proud to say she had gout as it meant she was rich living ..when in fact we all know that's not the case

I took this photo sat next to the driver of the narrowboat....the marina can be seen in the distance.
Driver is no longer with us..but the memory of the day out is still with me
