Fence finished...and looks great....will keep the undesirables out and let the hedgehogs in
Got a foot now that aches like a 90 yr old arthritic ...no pain no gain as they say

Hope all are in one piece and not melted

Yeah was really nice....lots of folk on the beach itself, but I managed to stay clear by staying on the promenade
Might stay out of the sun for a day or two as there has been a Met warning

According to the BBC weather on my PC it will be hotter up here for the next few days than it will be down your way!

Afternoon Slim and EFFT I hope it’s a bit cooler where you are …cos it’s awful here .

It's about 77 F in the house just now. Feels slightly cooler outside as there's a bit of movement in the air.

Same here EFFT ….although it feels a lot hotter upstairs ….as I’ve had to close the windows cos the farmer decided to muck spread his fields

Even with a window open (permanently for now) upstairs, it is still hotter upstairs. All the doors are open and a window and  it's about 73 F. Currently it is total cloud cover but the sun is due to start breaking through in the next few hours and reach 80 F or more!

Haha, know the feeling as our house backs onto farmland and the muck spreading is a common occurrence each year.

It’s been worse here today …..it’s the airlessness that is the worst ….we really do need a storm to clear the air …

Afternoon Slim and EFFT A bit cooler here today , thankfully I hope you are both having a nice Friday .

Saturday forecast to be a bit cooler than the last few days. Did actually start off quite a bit cooler, so dashed out and cut the front grass, before the sunshine got round there. Once the sun broke through the temperature ramped up apace! Still a few degrees cooler than yesterday!

Hi EFFT Same here ….I managed to get my walk and housework in before the temperature started to rise again…..but like you say , it’s still cooler than it has been ….and thankfully the air isn’t so * heavy* .
