Hi Baz, I think Slim's refering to the fact that this is the last Friday before the final of the Euro football, which is on Sunday coming.

Penultimate as in second last day before the final.

I've spent most of yesterday and today, so far, baking for the masses....we're having a BBQ gathering at mine tomorrow pre match ....is just as well I don't have a sweet tooth. Only the meat marinating to do for overnight and am done

Not quite Baz there were a good few prepared to stay and watch the Mixed Doubles final at Wimbledon.......if it had run into a 3rd set as that would have overlapped with the start of the  football.

I used to love it ….but since I had skin cancer …albeit non malignant …I avoid the sun….even though I slap on the factor 50 …..and I hate it hot at night .
