Omg yes , that was lucky Slim
@Baz posted:So is mine âĶ.especially when she said about the crack
Yeah, it was the mention of the cracking that noticeably set mine off!
@Baz posted:Iâm guessing you are non weight bearing âĶ..at least for 4/5 weeks .
No on the contrary...she told me to try and use the foot as much as normal as I can bear....only with the boot on though

Oh thatâs lucky then Slim âĶ.I had to be totally non weigh bearing for 6 weeksâĶthen partial for another few weeks âĶ.even with the boot on âĶ.but I guess the fact that I managed to totally smash the ankle âĶ.âĶ.. âĶ..I wouldnât mind , but I literally only tripped down two stairs

Yes absolutely
I did the same injury to my left foot at boarding school doing mobilising, had to be carried from the gym hall to sick bay by the gym master....was the envy of all the girls
Had to have a plaster up to my knee then...navigating crutches in the snow was not easy

I can well imagine I had a road accident when I was in my teens âĶ.other leg to my angle âĶ.and ended up with pins and plates in it âĶ.I was in plaster from toe to hip for several months âĶ.like you , right through winter âĶ.but I had a rocker on the bottom , so no crutches .

Must be a nightmare for you going through the metal detector at customs
I had a metal pin put in my elbow aged 12....dislocated it & chipped a piece of bone...the pin was to stop the bone from traveling & getting in the way of the joint.........Had badgered my Mum for heeled shoes....she finally gave in...the heel was only 2inches ffs
