Afternoon Ladies
Glad to see you're both having an good day

What are you crocheting Fluffy?

If I say I have no idea what I'm crocheting will that sound too daft?

It's a mystery CAL (crochet along) . get a bit of instructions each week, but won't know what the whole thing will be until the very end.   Parts 1 and 2

Did the mystery CAL in 2019 and really enjoyed it. So when it was announced that this year 's CAL would be a mystery one again, I jumped straight in. Part one (16 small squares made into a 4 x 4 tile) I completed in 8 days, part 2 (the 19 rounds around the tile) took 12 days and I'm currently half way through part 3 - more squares made into two 6 x 2 panels with 9 rounds around each panel.

These two panels are not joined to anything or each other at the moment.

That sounds like fun Fluffy....very novel
You crochet looks really good

What did the 2019 one turn out to be?

A poncho. Each week we did some straight rows and some squares the squares were joined 6 x 4 and that became the back and the section with the rows was the front. The back and front were joined at right angles to each other and that meant the rows ran diagonally across the body, a nice effect!

I like that it turned out to be something useful ....other than a blanket or cushion cover.
Have you worn it often?

The instructions are given in 7 parts, but everyone can go at their own pace as the instructions will be on the internet forever, so ther's no particular timescale to be met.

That's a real neat idea
I haven't done any crochet for years, but a friend of mine in Manchester does...he is bedridden and so is limited to what he can do....I'll have to see if he knows about it....is there a link?
