Afternoon Slim and EFFT Much better day here . Sun is out , and I slept much better , so managed a 3k walk this morning .I hope you are both having a good day too.

Evening

Well done on your walk

I've spent most of today with my daughter, after she rang me in tears this morning...thankfully I managed to calm her down and left her with a reassured smile on her face...

Missed GBM....but see that Kirk didn't win....shame that

No snow today, quite sunny, but has been wet. Election results on in the background, but not paying too much attention. Though I see the SNP have gained 2 seats so far, one each from Conservative and Labour. Other seats that have declared up here have been held by the incumbent person/party.

Awww …well I think it’s supposed to rain here for most of next week ….starting tomorrow EFFT

Oh...that's not good
Wanna jump on the train with me tomorrow ....off to my house again..is only half hour away but lovely coastal views...well maybe not so much when the weather is poor.......remember a couple of times passing through Dawlish when the waves were so tall that they smashed against the side of the train, which had to stop....was kind of scary but exciting at the same time

Great news - we're due a boiler and central heating check soon too!

We got a new boiler installed a couple of years ago, so shouldn't be any problems.

That's right yes it did...they've been putting up a new protective wall for quite some time now, which should help for a few years......but not between the tunnels which is where we had to stop.
You should come visit...

In the not too distant future I think I might be allowed to visit my sisters in Poole.Last visited in Spring 2019.Not totally due to Covid restrictions I was going to visit in September or October 2019, but they were having an outbreak of chickenpox and as I haven't had that it was mutually agreed that I'd put of my visit until spring 2020, but Covid put the kybosh on that! So maybe now Autumn 2021 or even Spring 2022.
